A small percentage of the population of Ghana have heard of Cardano Blockchain, meaning more work is to be done in order to get more people into the ecosystem, hence this community driven project.
Embark on a series of education events in Ghana to educate people about cardano and opportunities available to developers, entrepreneurs, business people, engineers, blockchain enthusiasts etc
This is the total amount allocated to Cardano 4 all: The Age of Explosion.

PREAMBLE
Ghana is an African country. Africa is perceived as a deprived continent and I believe it is not because of lack of Human Resources but rather that the African people are not exposed to opportunities like the outside world is. If the African people have access to such opportunities the people will be able to implement their ideas and projects that will be of great impact to the continent and the world at large.
PROPOSED SOLUTION
A small percentage of the population of Ghana have heard of Cardano Blockchain and out of those who have heard, a section of them are active members. The percentage of the Ghanaian people who have not heard of Cardano are much more than those who are aware of it. What does this mean for cardano and the catalyst community? It means that, there are still more people to be reached out to. It therefore also means that, Cardano needs to sponsor projects that seek to reach out to Ghanaians, hence this proposal.
The proposal seeks to embark on a series of community events to broadcast Cardano education to the percentage of Ghanaians who have not heard of it.Through our community events, we intend to engage with business people, local developers, entrepreneurs, farmers etc to help boost their specialized areas and businesses by leveraging cardano blockchain. In the short and long-run, we will have a community of people who are blockchain minded.
IMPACT OF PROJECT ON CARDANO
At the end of the project delivery, this will be the impact on cardano
PRECISE CHALLENGE ADDRESS
All contents, materials, resources from our project delivery will be made publicly available to the catalyst community. The principle of open source is key to the catalyst open challenge and so therefore we uphold and follow the principle with our utmost strength and respect.
This proposal has a timeframe of 3 months, it does not fit into any other F10 challenges. The budget is also in adherence to the budget cap of the challenge.
Outputs from the project will help us to know the caliber of projects people from diverse backgrounds have and are interested in and will help us streamline our future activities to fit or match the expectations of the Ghanaian people.
Convened and hosted the 2022 Cardano Summit in Tamale, Ghana which was the largest blockchain summit ever hosted in Tamale. The summit ended successfully and all participants were well educated and nicely received and refreshed. The event wouldn’t have been deemed successful if the funds were not properly used. Have also organized and facilitated successfully community events, some in Northern Ghana and in Kumasi with support from Wada.
We have also held conferences where people were educated about blockchain and many of the people today are active in the cardano ecosystem. As a result of past events and conferences we have held, we have been able to garner enough experience in hosting and facilitating projects like this successfully. We are also very reliable in terms of using funds for the right tasks to ensure success of our projects.
we have also been PAs and vPAs in project catalyst for some time now.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsQtjgRJSp8&t=101sThe following are the goals of the project:
• Raise Cardano awareness by introducing the Ghanaian people to cardano and project catalyst.
Validation: Through our community events, we will be able to get some percentage of the Ghanaian people who have not heard about cardano to be well informed.
•Cardano becomes vibrant in Ghanaian communities.
Validation: Areas or communities we have held our events, we will establish a cardano community group for the participants so that they can stay in touch with one another and receive updates from the project team about current developments in the catalyst community. This helps to create a vibrant cardano community.
• Encourage local innovation/development.
Validation: Project catalyst proposal submission and funding will be introduced to the people where they can get to submit local projects and receive funding to execute them for the development of their community.
• Establish networking and collaboration.
Validation: Facilitating interaction and collaborations among community members and thereby fostering good relationships and building a stronger network within the community.
Project Launch
The team intends to launch and kick start the project in October 2023 through to January 2024. We will hold a cardano community event in October, two (2) in November and another in December in different towns/communities in Ghana. So in all, the team intends to hold 4 cardano community events in different towns in Ghana. Aftermath, close out report will be prepared and submitted.

•Transportation, accommodation and feeding of team- 9,000 Ada
• Creation and printing of cardano T-shirts and education materials- 300*30 Ada= 9,000Ada
• Honorarium for team
. resource persons- 2*850 Ada= 1,700 Ada*4= 6,800 Ada
. Event Organizers- 1,200 Ada
Sub total= 8,000 Ada
• Rental of events space- 4 events* 1,500 Ada= 6,000 Ada
• Refreshment of participants-
Snacks and water 300*3.333= 1,000 Ada
. Lunch 300*13.333 Ada= 4,000 Ada
Sub Total= 5,000 Ada
• Events Capture- 3,000 Ada
• Events publicity- 3,000 Ada
• Ada rewards for participants during Q&As session- 2,000 Ada
• Contingency fund/miscellaneous- 1,000 Ada
Total: 46,000 Ada
•Contingency Fund: Every project will encounter challenges in the course of its delivery, so therefore there might be need of some push up funds to undertake the project especially at the completion stage of the project (we want to fully execute the project). The contingency fund of 1,000 Ada captured in the budget will be able to cater for unexpected expenses.
•Publicity: To get the Ghanaian communities we intend to hold our cardano events to be aware of our upcoming events and participate, there is the need to embark on massive publicity using channels such as social media, flyers and local media, which is a demanding process and requires much funds to carry it out effectively, hence the amount of 3,000 Ada.
•Accommodation, feeding and transportation of team (resource persons): The condition of the economy of Ghana has caused prices of goods and services to skyrocket. Accommodation, feeding and transportation have been affected by the economic situation and hence an amount of 9,000 Ada will be able to cover these expenses.
•Rental of gadgets and conference space: cost of gadgets and conference space rental have increased however the amount of 6,000 Ada will be able to cover the expense.
•Printing of cardano T-shirts and materials: This component of the budget will make our conferences very unique and more insightful. Aside our conference sessions, students will be able to receive basic education about cardano and project catalyst from the cardano materials (booklets). It requires more funds to get the T-shirts and materials printed, hence the amount of 9,000 Ada.
All other components/items (affordable and less costly items have been considered) in the budget have been careful prepared with respect to current and prevailing economic conditions in Ghana and hence the outcome of 46,000 Ada.
THE COST OF THE PROJECT
The cost of the project represents value for money for the cardano ecosystem considering that the funds requested will aid in the education of people about the ecosystem and giving them opportunities to become members of the ecosystem. The membership of cardano ecosystem will increase and also receive innovative ideas from developers, entrepreneurs, business personnel etc to help build the ecosystem.
