Rare Network aims to bridge the gap between blockchain technology and the live events industry, and we see non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as the catalyst for this transformation. We are excited to present our grant proposal for the development and integration of our non-fungible token (NFT) ticketing system within the Cardano ecosystem. This collaboration would revolutionize the ticketing experience, providing attendees with more than just entry passes and leveraging the potential of NFTs within the Cardano community.

Project Overview:

The objective of this project is to create a seamless integration of Rare Network's NFT ticketing system within the Cardano blockchain. By leveraging NFTs as event tickets, we aim to enhance the ticketing experience for attendees of our event, Rare Evo. These NFTs will serve as coveted digital collectibles, granting participants exclusive access to the Rare Evo community and fostering a sense of belonging and participation.

To accomplish this project successfully, we seek support for:

• Catalyst Open funds to be utilized for the technical development of a ticket and reward claim portal, community engagement activities to promote adoption, and the necessary infrastructure and maintenance for the NFT ticketing system.

Building out our NFT ticketing infrastructure to be open source will benefit the Cardano ecosystem by allowing others to utilize the technology for any live events.

Additionally this may onboard more users by incentivizing them to create new wallets as our NFT tickets will have more perks than our current traditional ticket options.

Our intention is to incentivize the majority of our attendees to use our NFT ticketing platform rather than a traditional ticketing platform.

The success will be measured by having a successful project go-live for Rare Evo 2024/25.

This project will allow us to pursue adopting web3 and NFT adoption, while not risking the events side of the business. With creating a claim portal, we will be able to expedite the roll out of NFT tickets for our future flagship event, Rare Evo, there in turn gaining more adoption for the blockchain. This project will allow Rare Network's team to expand our development team and beyond solely an events and media production company relying on web2 architecture. Once we accomplish building the portal, we plan to build further utilities for utilizing NFTs at IRL events, factoring in lessons learned as a team from this project to our future initiatives. Our project is set for 6 months and we find this accomplishable and reportable throughout the progress.

IRL events are not going anywhere and we need a solution to incorporate existing or new NFT projects into ticketing solutions where respected members can claim tickets. This solution will be utilized at multichain events causing new users to onboard from outside the active ecosystem.
