Project Summary

The goal of this project is to create a series of high-quality memes that promote the Cardano blockchain and its community. The memes will be created by Anthony Cardano, a well-known meme creator in the Cardano community. The memes will be distributed on social media and other online platforms. In addition to the memes, the project will also provide monthly reports on how well the memes were received by the community.

This proposal was made for Catalyst Open. It’s on time, it’s under budget, and it definitely doesn’t fit anywhere else.

We would love to measure the success of this project in TPS (titters per second) but we’ll have to settle for boring old social media statistics.

We will collect all of Anthony Cardano’s memetastic output and collate it with the social media statistics, and publish a monthly report to Project Catalyst.

Our main goal is to have fun, and keep the memes flowing. The approach is feasible if the community continues to like the Memes. If they hate it, I guess we’ll stop, or make more memes making fun of the people who want us to stop…

The output is a nearly daily meme (Sometimes we take a Monday off). The Memes will either be posted to the DripDropz twitter feed or to Anthony Cardano’s twitter feed. Then we’ll package them up and ship them off to the wilds of TikTok, Instagram, and those new-fangled platforms like Mastodon and Bluesky to see how they fly.

Milestones are for months of completed work. We estimate that ADA will remain at or above $0.25 so we are pricing the proposal according to that estimate. (Yeah, the power company doesn’t take ADA, yet… neither does the landlord.)

We are asking for 65,500 ADA to account for Anthony’s time creating original content & the media team’s time for assembling & submitting analytical reports.
