We create a miniseries of TV quality interviews that can be used by influencers and professional media.

4 - Quality Education
We want journalists, media and influencers to care about our projects that are built on Cardano. These people often don’t have time to do the research. The world of blockchain is very vast and complex. Let’s make it easier for them. Let’s offer them a prepared, well-filmed interviews in a broadcasting quality for professional media.
I propose to create 3 in-depth interviews.
All of them will be in two versions: short 1 minute and long up to 10 minutes.
It will be ready to serve different purposes based on the needs of the media and influencers.
Why this challenge?
Catalyst Open aims to seed the ideas which might, in time, grow the ADA economy and inform our future funding priorities.
This proposal is trying to reach beyond the gates of Cardano Community. To inform outsiders and newcomers about the benefits of the projects built around Cardano. Especially those with social and environmental impact.
This solution offers time and money savings for influencers and media. We’d save them ton of time, money and our projects still get a great exposure.
We want to do 3 in-depth interviews.
We will measure the successful creation and distribution of each interview. This is our metric for success.
Please note that it’s not realistic to provide any numbers regarding the distribution here. We have to accept that we live in a world where all the coverage, articles etc. are being paid for. It costs considerable amount of money to have an article or video on Cointelegraph or other big platforms offering news. It goes to thousands of dollars per article.
That’s why I’m proposing this as an alternative way where we simplify the process for media and influencers, we offer them ready-made interviews hoping it cuts down the distribution rates. In best case scenario they’d publish our content free of charge.
That's why I cannot estimate the number of final views / shares etc.

The work can be divided into monthly cycles:
Week 1: Pre-production
Week 2: Production
1 or 2 days filming based on the nature and complexity of the project. Mostly 2 days.
Week 3: Postproduction
Week 4: Marketing & Distribution
NOTE:
In theory each month is the same on the timeline. The reality will be different, things will overlap or get delayed. We'll be informing the public about the changes openly.
In theory the whole project is manageable within 3 months. The reality of the passed projects taught me to add an extra time as things never go as planned. That's why I set the timeline to 6 months.

We want to do 3 videos. Each video has to complete these 4 steps:
Week 1: Pre-production
Week 2: Production
Week 3: Postproduction
Week 4: Marketing / Distribution
Each interview is one milestone.
It means we can easily plan 3 main milestones and 12 small tasks - 3x4 for each story.

For each milestone we'll need this:
Week 1 Pre-production
Selecting a project that is ready for an interview, planning a meeting, contacting the team, scheduling filming.
23 hours of work. 1hr per $20 = $460.
Week 2 Production
1 or 2 days of filming based on the nature and complexity of the project.
Logistics and accommodation: $1800 (of course it depends on type of location, so this is the top number, in case of unused logistics money these will be used for production and postproduction or marketing)
Filming itself requires a cameraman, sound operator and director on set.
We will use two cameras for 2 days.
This whole crew with equipment costs $1500 per filming day, so it's $3000 for 2 days.
Week 3 Postproduction:
Week 4 - Marketing & distribution
Overall: $8250 per project
We want to do 3 projects which means $8250 x 3 = $24750
For the proposal we used the rate of 0,33 ada per USD = approx. 75 000 ada
Regarding the budget:
We mostly follow European standards, but compared to these we work for less. We are filming in a small crew of only 3-4 people, thus saving a lot of money.
These formats are usually produced by the teams of 5-7 people.

Of course these are calculated for an average movie, so in our case it's obviously less.
But nevertheless film and TV work is in its core needs still the same.
As you can see we are offering a significant price reduction opposed to the standards.
Final words:
Good and proper media coverage is the key to success of any project. Cardano in general is no different. At the same time if we don’t step up ourselves, nobody will do that for us.
I strongly believe this proposal can bring a lot of good value and positive energy for Cardano ecosystem.
