[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.
How we perceive the problem we're solving
Projects developed in French-speaking African countries lack information on Blockchain technology in general. The fact that almost all the resources needed by developers are in English does not allow French speakers to actively participate in the Cardano community.
According to Wikipedia, about 140 million Africans (31 out of 54 countries) speak French. And all these Africans need the basic resources on Cardano Blockchain to be able to actively launch themselves by having a solid fundamental base and above all by having a community with which to collaborate and interact.
What our solution is
Our groundbreaking solution centers around harnessing the power of the Updev Community platform. It provides a dynamic space where developers come together to exchange invaluable insights, collaborate, and elevate their expertise in the realm of Cardano blockchain technology.
This platform enables users to publish curated posts and articles tailored to their expertise, fostering the dissemination of knowledge on Cardano blockchain technology. Its primary objective is to address the scarcity of French resources on blockchain technology for projects developed in French-speaking African countries.
In addition to content sharing, users have the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions, seek and provide answers to inquiries, and actively participate in various activities such as organizing online or offline events. The platform serves as a comprehensive hub where like-minded individuals can connect, collaborate, and advance their understanding of Cardano's potential within the French-speaking African context.
The objective of this platform is to increase the adoption of Cardano in French-speaking Africa and to help local projects to fully benefit from the advantages of blockchain technology.
Blockchain is a revolutionary technology that offers many possibilities in various fields such as financial services, education, governance, and many others. However, in French-speaking African countries, there is a lack of information and resources on Blockchain Cardano, which limits the participation and adoption of this technology.
By strengthening Cardano's presence in the French-speaking African ecosystem, we aim to bridge the information gap by providing a space where developers, entrepreneurs and Blockchain technology enthusiasts can access relevant information (necessary resources) on the Cardano blockchain.
Through articles, discussions and interactions between members of the French-speaking community, we create an environment conducive to learning, collaborating and adopting Cardano Blockchain. Users can ask questions, exchange ideas and share their experiences, which allows for increased dissemination of knowledge about Cardano in French-speaking countries in Africa.
Who your project will engage
This project will engage on the one hand the French-speaking developers of Africa.
On the other hand, this project will hire bilingual developers and experts who will be willing to translate resources requested by the community and share them in French. It will be about sharing resources about Cardano Blockchain in French based on questions asked by French speakers, responding to their concerns, sharing content with them on the forum, etc.
How Updev Community allows you to create resources on the Blockchain Cardano in French
The Updev Community platform allows you to:
- Create and share articles in the form of texts, images, videos, codes, etc.
Example of a posted article :
"Cardano Testnets | Partie 2 " https://updevcommunity.com/articles/cardano-testnets-or-partie-2
- Ask questions in the form of posts
- Create and invite participants to events :
Example of a upcoming event : "Cardano Summit 2023"https://updevcommunity.com/posts/cardano-summit-2023-kinshasa
- Launch and share polls
- Discuss and comment on the content of other users
- Automatics traslation of content in french if it was in published in english.
In summary, Updev Community offers a solution by providing a dedicated platform for the French-speaking community to share resources, increase adoption of Cardano and fill the information gap on blockchain technology in French-speaking countries in Africa.

Expected results :
- Strengthening of Cardano's presence in the city of Bukavu.
- Close collaboration with partner organizations and universities.
- Increase in the number of members of the French-speaking Cardano-Africa community.
Measures :
- Number of partnership agreements concluded.
- Attendance rate at the Updev Community platform presentation conference.
- Positive feedback from hands-on workshop participants.
- Success rate of recruiting 10 new members for the community.
The next stages of the project will follow a similar pattern in terms of deliverables, outputs, expected results and measures to follow up.
We will also use qualitative indicators such as:
- The level of engagement and participation of community members.
- Testimonials and positive feedback from French-speaking users on the activities and resources put in place.
By tracking these metrics, we will be able to assess the progress of the project, measure the results achieved at each stage, and take the necessary steps to ensure the continued success of our initiative to develop the Cardano-Afrique Francophone community.

[RESOURCES & VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?
The cost of the project represents advantageous value for the Cardano ecosystem for several reasons. First of all, the costs described above are based on a careful assessment of the specific needs of the project and the objectives to be achieved. They have been established by taking into account various factors such as the average salaries in the country, freelance rates in the industry and the expenses required to achieve the desired results.
The high costs reflect the commitment to delivering a quality project and the expected positive impact on the Cardano community. Spending on marketing, outreach, and promotional activities is key to maximizing Cardano's visibility and attracting new users and developers. These activities aim to drive adoption of the platform, strengthen the Cardano-Francophone Africa community, and foster innovation and the development of blockchain-based projects.
It is important to note that the costs have been assessed realistically, taking into account local conditions and the resources needed to carry out each stage of the project. Extensive research has been conducted to ensure that costs are aligned with market standards and correspond to expected results.
In terms of value for money invested, the project aims to generate significant returns for the Cardano ecosystem. The focus on raising awareness, community engagement, and building local blockchain skills will help boost the adoption and use of Cardano in Francophone Africa. It will also help build a strong base of developers, entrepreneurs, and innovators who can leverage Cardano technology to solve local problems and drive economic growth.
In summary, the costs of the project are justified by the value it brings to the Cardano ecosystem. They are based on a realistic assessment of needs, objectives and expected results, as well as local considerations and market standards. The project aims to maximize Cardano's impact in Francophone Africa and create sustainable momentum for innovation and development in the region.
