Cardano needs a bounty management system that has open source protocol and API documentation to be more accessible to developers and community members.
We will create open source protocol and API documentation for Block Bounty to make it more accessible to developers and community members.
This is the total amount allocated to Block Bounty Protocol & API Specification with JS Code Examples.

Our project depends on the launch of the forthcoming DripDropz Instant Reward API for one version of our bounty delivery system.
Project will be fully open source.
Block Bounty is a Cardano bounty management system that provides project management focused bounty discovery and tracking. The system allows users to create bounties, track progress, and pay out rewards in ADA or Cardano Native Assets.
This grant proposal requests funding to create open source protocol and API documentation for Block Bounty. The API will allow Cardano community members to build their own reporting or front ends to the Block Bounty Protocol.
Block Bounty was born as part of the Project Catalyst funded and delivered “Urban Farmer dApp”. Originally this tool was purely for integration in the dApp, but we see the benefit of opening the tool up to the wider community for use in project bounty applications. This proposal seeks to take the first step in opening the protocol to all users of the Cardano Ecosystem.
Benefits of the Project:
The project will be successful when the API and Protocol documentation are available via a github repository.
Outputs will be provided via github. Videos produced will be hosted on YouTube. Socialization of the availability of the protocol will be via social media channels.
The team members are developers and network engineers with extensive real world expertise in deploying and maintaining scalable solutions. We have delivered the Urban Farmer dApp Proof of Concept in Fund 8. Our team members also have roles in other companies within the space, including DripDropz, & Adosia. Team members are highly active in the Catalyst community and are fully publicly available. We have strong relationships with the best and brightest within the Cardano ecosystem. We have a proven track record of working with IOG and the community on many projects. We are well suited to bring this project to completion.
Our Closeout video from Fund 8 is located here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsGxjMJkQyIThe main goals of this project are to fully document the protocol and API calls necessary to operate all of the functions of Block Bounty. We will validate the approach through interactions with community members such as developers and project managers who will make use of our tools.
Milestone 1
Document Each API Endpoint between the front and back end of the current Block Bounty system.
Milestone 2
Create example Javascript code that performs each action available to the API
Milestone 3
Provide a Protocol Document which lays out the entire workflow of the protocol ahead of our side chain release.
Milestone 4
Provide an Explainer video which shows the API in action and suggest next steps for developers who want to implement block bounty into their own dApps.
Milestone 1: A SWIFT document with all endpoints available.(2 Months)
Milestone 2: A Github Repository with sample code (2 Months)
Milestone 3: A document within the Github repository that describes the full protocol. (1 Month)
Milestone 4: A video on YouTube showing the API and suggestions to developers. (1 Month)
Milestone 1:
