Currently, legal regulation is the main challenge that cryptocurrencies face. That is why it is necessary to harness the power of our entire community and elect our own legislators
Elect our own legislators within our community. For example, if there are over 50000 Catalyst members in a country like Colombia, we can vote and choose 1 senator to help create favorable regulations
This is the total amount allocated to + Cryptocurrency lawmakers.

This project aims to contribute to the legal regulation of cryptocurrencies worldwide by enabling our own Catalyst community to elect its own legislators. For instance, if in any country a legislator is elected with 100,000 votes and our community surpasses that number, we would have the opportunity to elect 1 or more legislators
This is a product for legal regulation of cryptocurrencies worldwide, for which a website needs to be built that integrates with IDEASCALE, allowing our community to participate and potentially elect our own legislators
The success of this project will be measured by: 1) the construction of a website, 2) the integration of the website with the IDEASCALE platform, 3) the nomination of our community members to campaign for becoming legislators, 4) the website traffic from our community and cryptocurrency users in general, 5) the election of our own legislators.
This project will be completed in 3 months, and the final outcome will be a website where our community can nominate themselves and campaign to become legislators. It will also provide an opportunity for our community to get to know the candidates better and show their support

The main objectives of this project are: 1) harnessing the full potential of our community to elect our own legislators, 2) aiding in the legal regulation of cryptocurrencies worldwide, 3) innovating with a product for the entire crypto ecosystem
The delivery schedule for this product is 3 months, and it will have 3 milestones, one each month. The first milestone will be a legal document on favorable legal regulation of cryptocurrencies, the second milestone will be a legislative analysis document from Political Science perspective, and the third milestone will be the delivery of the website where the project will operate
For milestone 1, a document will be delivered providing insights into appropriate legal regulation. For milestone 2, a document will be delivered presenting perspectives from Political Science for legislators. Finally, for milestone 3, the project's functioning website will be delivered
For this project, the work of the main proponent and a web development company will be required. A full-time programmer is needed, working 8 hours per day for 20 days in a month, at a rate of $50 per hour. This amounts to $8,000 (or approximately 24,000 ADA). The proponent, who is a lawyer and a Master's degree in Political Science, will work for 2 months to deliver milestones 1 and 2, with a fee of $10,000 (or approximately 30,000 ADA). Additionally, approximately $5,333 (or 16,000 ADA) will be allocated for promotion and advertising
This is a low-cost project with a high positive impact on the regulation of cryptocurrencies worldwide in the future
The team consists of the main proponent, who is a lawyer and holds a Master's degree in Political Science. They will deliver milestones 1 and 2. For milestone 3, which involves the website development, we will hire a company or an independent programmer who is also a member of our community. For example, my siblings who are part of Catalyst and are programmers could be considered for the role
