Wellbeing and nature are both linked, and there are some efforts to tokenize each separately. The cross-pollination of data between the mind and nature does not yet exist in web3.
The proposed project will build a bridge between Nature 2.0 (ReFi) tokenomics and future 'ecologies of mind', leveraging blockchain & mind-hacking to allow humans to communicate with ecosystems.
This is the total amount allocated to Pathform ReFi: Nature, (Plastics) Circular Economy, Wellbeing & Mindset Shifts.

No dependencies.
The tokenomics of Nature 2.0 will be open-source, though some of the biometric technology will not, due to user privacy concerns.

Executive Summary
This proposal introduces an innovative project that aims to create the foundations of a Decentralized Autonomous Ecosystem (DAE). The proposed model to begin is to revolutionize plastic waste management by integrating the operations of Kibumi (see attached link), an Indonesian start-up focused on plastic waste collection and recycling working on expanding globally, with the principles of Nature 2.0, and the consciousness-focused growth-promoting approach of Pathform. Inspired by the token models of KLIMA DAO and The Sovereign Nature Initiative (SNI), the project envisions a decentralized, tokenized ecosystem that incentivizes waste reduction, fosters creative problem-solving, and promotes a deeper interconnection between the mind and nature, contributing to environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation.
See attached links for more about Kibumi and a new business model created with 18 executives in Hong Kong and Indonesia in May 2023. Indonesian and Philippine governments and organizations have expressed interest in the business model.
Ref. previously completed and closed-out Pathform proposal from F7.
This proposals comes on the heels of four previous successful and closed-out Catalyst proposals (1 in F7, 2 in F8, 1 in F9), all executed by the proposer. The present proposal builds upon previous work.
Pathform ReFi: Project Overview
The project, tentatively named Pathform ReFi, plans to employ blockchain technology to establish a Nature 2.0 ecological activities (e.g. tokenized circular economy for plastic waste), and connect sustainability activities with the cultivation of consciousness. Each type of waste collected and recycled will be tokenized into a unique crypto asset, incentivizing waste collection and recycling. Companies that recycle waste will be issued Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) as proof of their recycling efforts, serving as verifiable certificates for EPR reporting and carbon credit earning.
Inspirations from KLIMA DAO and SNI
Drawing inspiration from KLIMA DAO, a project that tokenizes carbon credits to combat climate change, Pathform ReFi envisions a dual incentive system where users are rewarded with tokens for their contributions to waste and carbon reduction. Similarly, the project takes cues from SNI's model of turning data into marketable assets for the gaming community, envisioning the creation of NFTs representing different types of plastic waste, which could be used in games and other digital experiences.
Integration with Pathform and Fostering “ecologies of mind”
Pathform's approach of leveraging extraordinary and creative states of consciousness for problem-solving will be integrated into the project. Participants in Pathform activities could be rewarded with tokens for their innovative solutions. Furthermore, wellness-meets-hackathon retreats will be organized, serving as real-world hubs for Pathform ReFi and Pathform. These retreats will provide participants with hands-on experience in farming, gardening, and sustainability recycling, further incentivizing environmental stewardship.
In addition, the project aims to foster “ecologies of mind”, a concept that promotes a deeper interconnection between the mind and nature. By creating an environment where individuals can consciously connect with nature, the project aims to inspire innovative solutions that are in harmony with the natural world.
Eco-Tourism and R&D Lab
Pathform retreats will also offer eco-tourism opportunities. Participants can stay on the land, immersing themselves in nature and ecology while contributing to Nature 2.0 initiatives. These retreats will also serve as R&D labs for future crypto mechanisms/apps and scientific research, where natural processes can be tokenized and explored for their potential in creating new environmental solutions.
Target Audience and Funding
The project will target a wide range of stakeholders, including but not limited to those interested in wellbeing/wellness and 'resetting', web3 developers, corporate entities and high net worth individuals. These entities will be encouraged to sponsor events, purchase tokens, or invest directly in the platforms. In return, they will receive tokens, access to exclusive events, and other benefits.
Conclusion
This project represents a unique convergence of waste management, consciousness-focused problem-solving, eco-tourism, and the fostering of “ecologies of mind”. By leveraging the power of blockchain and tokenomics, and drawing inspiration from successful models like KLIMA DAO and SNI, it aims to create a self-sustaining, decentralized ecosystem that incentivizes positive environmental behavior, fosters innovative solutions to global challenges, and promotes a deeper, conscious interconnection between the mind and nature.
The project will engage with ecological and/or ReFi communities and communities interested in wellbeing and consciousness. The project is motivated by seeing consciousness and ecological approaches evolve together. Applications of the project would potentially involve web3 governance, eco-tourism, and retreats, and possibly online resources for cultivating awareness of the problem and proposed solution.
Risk mitigation:
The proposed project brings a novel technology to Cardano, making Cardano a first-mover chain in the space. This proposal poises Cardano to be used in a key technology in the world. It also builds on and adds functionality to existing products (successful, closed-out proposals from F7, F8, F9).
This proposal thereby fulfills criteria of the Challenge, including the following metrics:
The success will be measured by production of at least a proof of concept or prototype for the fusion of Nature 2.0 tokenomic architecture + mind/consciousness/brain.
The project will be spoken about and shared on social media / marketing at a high-level for broad understanding, and will be shared with relevant communities for engagement and exploration of potential collaboration.
This project comes on the heels of 4 previous Catalyst proposals that have all be successfully completed and closed-out.
The main goal of the project is to enable the tandem development of human culture at the consciousness level and in an ecological capacity. The project aims to do this by developing a tokenomic architecture to this end, which can be used for various real-world purposes, e.g. ecological charity, eco-tourism, ecological real estate (e.g. with IoT communication between plants), etc.
