In the initial phase of Profiler v2.0, both the backend and frontend components of our project will not be open source. This decision is primarily driven by our need to ensure the stability, security, and integrity of our tool, especially given its sensitive role in combating scams and fraudulent activities in the Cardano blockchain. However, we are actively considering the possibility of some or all components once we release the second version of Profiler.
Profiler v2.0 is designed to address a significant challenge in the Cardano ecosystem: the prevalence of scams and fraudulent activities. We perceive this problem as a barrier to the growth and adoption of Cardano, as it can deter potential users and undermine the trust of existing ones.
Our solution, Profiler v2.0, is an advanced investigation and tracking tool specifically designed for the Cardano blockchain. It builds upon the existing v1 of our tool Profiler, enhancing its capabilities to provide users with a more comprehensive, user-friendly, and efficient way to effortlessly investigate Cardano addresses and assets with little or no knowledge of how eUTXO works to safeguard and protect their funds.
Profiler v2.0 will engage both novice and advanced users in the Cardano community. For novice users, it will provide an accessible way to gain insights into potential scams and fraudulent activities, helping them to make informed decisions and protect their investments. For advanced users, it will offer a streamlined platform for conducting investigations, saving them valuable time and effort.
The impact of Profiler v2.0 will be demonstrated through its contribution to the safety and security of the Cardano ecosystem. By empowering users with the tools and insights they need to protect themselves against scams and fraud, it will help to build trust and confidence in Cardano, encouraging more users to join and engage with the ecosystem.
What sets Profiler v2.0 apart is its focus on the Cardano blockchain, its user-friendly interface, and its comprehensive set of features. It is designed to be accessible to users of all levels of experience, making it a valuable tool for the entire Cardano community.
Detecting fraudulent activities on the blockchain can be a daunting task, particularly for everyday users. Even for advanced users, on-chain analysis can be complex and time-consuming, especially considering the intricacies of eUTXO and the expanding Cardano ecosystem.
Our proposed solution, Profiler v2.0, tackles this issue head-on. By offering an intuitive, advanced investigation and tracking tool, we aim to significantly curb these activities. Our goal is to empower users of all levels, making blockchain analysis accessible and leveling the playing field.
Profiler v2.0 will bring several benefits to the Cardano ecosystem:
In terms of quantifying the impact, we anticipate that Profiler v2.0 will engage thousands of users within the first few months of its launch. We also expect to see a significant reduction in the number of scams and fraudulent activities reported within the Cardano ecosystem. These metrics will be tracked and reported to demonstrate the impact of our project on the Cardano ecosystem.
Our proposed solution, Profiler v2.0, directly addresses the challenge of enhancing security and trust within the Cardano ecosystem. We aim to combat scams and fraudulent activities by providing a comprehensive user-friendly, sophisticated tracking tool specifically designed for the Cardano blockchain.
The Profiler v2.0 will bring significant benefits to the Cardano ecosystem beyond just funding our project team. It will provide users with easy to use tools to track suspicious Cardano addresses, honeypot tokens, wash trading, and more, and stay informed about the latest scams. This will empower users to make informed decisions, thereby enhancing their security and trust in the Cardano ecosystem.
In terms of quantifying the impact, we aim to interact with 2% of the active Cardano addresses, which equates to over 9,000 addresses. While this doesn't directly translate to the number of individual users, it represents a significant level of engagement within the Cardano ecosystem.
Moreover, our goal is to reduce scams and fraudulent activities by at least 5%. This would represent a significant improvement in the security and trustworthiness of the ecosystem, benefiting all users.
As the Cardano blockchain grows and attracts more users, we anticipate that the percentage of active addresses interacting with Profiler v2.0 will increase over time. We will track these metrics and report on our progress to demonstrate the tangible impact of Profiler v2.0 on the Cardano ecosystem.
Our plans to share the outputs and results of the Profiler v2.0 project are multi-faceted and designed to reach a broad audience within the Cardano ecosystem.
Despite operating with limited resources at present, we are actively working on and enhancing our existing live version of Profiler. If we secure funding, we plan to launch a test version of our product at test.profiler.biz from the first milestone onwards. This will allow us to progressively increase the frequency of our releases.
Our first release will be the unveiling of our new design to the community. We aim to gather feedback and make necessary improvements based on this input. Following this, we will begin incremental releases, rolling out each feature and component for community testing. We plan to incentivize community participation in this testing phase to ensure robust feedback and engagement.
Throughout the lifecycle of the project, we will maintain a strong focus on community engagement, partnerships, and the creation of educational content. These ongoing efforts will ensure that we remain connected with our user base and continue to deliver a product that meets the evolving needs of the Cardano ecosystem.
Our team is well-positioned to deliver this project with high levels of trust and accountability. The team is led by Mohamed Habbat, a Swiss-based programmer and entrepreneur with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions across various industries. He is adept at working with blockchain technology, full-stack development, and DevOps. He has over 10 years of experience in the field and has successfully developed and launched the Profiler v1 in his spare time. His portfolio includes the development of innovative business solutions using blockchain technology.
The design of Profiler v1 was done by Adnan Habbat, an experienced designer and React developer. Adnan is a freelance web developer & designer who helps startups and enterprises tackle their development obstacles to get the results they hope for and introduce their services/products to the world, promptly at a competitive cost.
For the new version of Profiler, Mohamed will manage the project and Adnan will design it. We have also expanded our team with the addition of two full-stack developers, Muhammad Musa and Waqas Arshad, who bring a wealth of experience in web application development. We are currently seeking a community manager to manage social networks and communication. We welcome applications from interested and qualified individuals.
In terms of financial management, we understand the importance of managing funds properly. We will ensure transparency in our financial operations and will provide regular updates on the project's progress. We are committed to delivering this project successfully and contributing to the Cardano ecosystem. Our team's experience and dedication, combined with a clear project plan and transparent financial management, make us well-suited to deliver this project with high levels of trust and accountability.
To ensure the quality and reliability of our solution, we will adopt an incremental release approach. This means that we will be releasing new features and improvements in stages, allowing us to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments along the way. This approach not only ensures that we deliver a product that meets the needs of the community but also allows us to manage risks effectively.
To validate the feasibility of our approach, we will use a combination of qualitative and quantitative measures:
Note the frontend development will start in parallel with the milestone 4
Lead Software Engineer/ Full Stack developer (pre-tax): 238,498 ₳
Senior Frontend Engineer (pre-tax): 134,155 ₳
Senior Backend Engineer: 134,155 ₳
Designer: 49,190ADA
