We are hiring an expert Aiken team to convert our contracts to Aiken language.
Project will be fully open source once we are out of beta and we are sure all works properly.
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth - Our project can contribute to this goal by creating high-quality jobs within our team and potentially in the broader Cardano ecosystem as the improvements we make can stimulate more activity and growth. Moreover, by streamlining the rewards system, we could be indirectly supporting the growth of businesses that use Cardano for their operations.
SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure - As mentioned before, we are innovating and strengthening the infrastructure of the Cardano ecosystem. The use of the Aiken language for this upgrade represents a novel approach in the field of smart contracts, contributing to the 'Innovation' aspect of this goal.
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production - By making the Cardano rewards contract leaner and more functional, we are promoting efficiency in the use of resources within the Cardano network. This aligns with the broader goal of ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns.
SDG 13: Climate Action - Although indirect, the improvement of the efficiency of the Cardano network through our project could contribute to lower energy usage for transactions and contract interactions. As blockchain and cryptocurrency networks face criticism for their environmental impact, any improvement in efficiency can be seen as a positive step towards sustainable operations.
Our solution involves a comprehensive review of existing rewards contracts, designing and implementing upgrades using Aiken language, and thorough testing. The upgraded contracts will improve efficiency, functionality, and user experience in the Cardano ecosystem.
The upgraded contracts will address the inefficiencies and limitations of the current rewards contracts, promoting scalability, user onboarding, and marketplace performance. The improved efficiency will reduce resource consumption and attract new users. The enhanced functionality will create a user-friendly experience, driving user participation, space, and growth in the Cardano ecosystem.
Success will be measured by the efficient operation of the upgraded contracts, increased user onboarding and participation, and growth in the Cardano marketplace. Performance metrics such as transaction speed, resource consumption, user feedback, and marketplace activity will be used to evaluate the success of the project.
We plan to share the outputs and results of the project through regular progress reports, documenting the work completed, milestones achieved, and feedback received. We will also engage with the Cardano community through social media to share the impact and opportunities resulting from the upgraded contracts.
Our team is comprised of Stale, Kieran, and Adawg who are experienced blockchain developers with a background in the cardano ecosystem. They all have previous marketplace experience and have contract integration experience. We have the technical expertise and project management skills necessary to deliver the project successfully. We will work with the Aiken team to create and our team to integrate.
The main goals of the project are to upgrade Cardano rewards contracts using Aiken language, enhance efficiency and functionality, and validate the feasibility through thorough testing and monitoring. We will measure the success of each milestone based on the completion of tasks, adherence to the timeline, and achievement of deliverables outlined in the project plan.
Phase 1: Analysis and Design (Month 1)
Phase 2: Development and Testing (Month 2)
Phase 3: Implementation and Monitoring (Months 3-6)
Milestone 1: Analysis and Design
Milestone 2: Development and Testing
Milestone 3: Implementation and Monitoring
The requested funds of 85,000 ADA will cover the salaries of the Aiken team as well as our development integration team. The breakdown is as follows:
The cost of the project represents value for money for the Cardano ecosystem as it focuses on upgrading and optimizing the rewards contracts, which are essential for the ecosystem's growth and user participation. By investing in improving the efficiency and functionality of the contracts, the project aims to attract new users, retain existing users, and stimulate activity in the Cardano marketplace. The cost is justified by the potential impact on scalability, user onboarding, and overall ecosystem performance.
The costs have been determined based on industry-standard rates for blockchain development and the expertise required for implementing the Aiken language upgrade. The budget ensures the availability of skilled professionals and resources for testing and monitoring.
