Today's social media and content-sharing platforms are time-based: you or a creator you follow post a piece of content, but after a short while, it gets buried under new posts. The content is ordered through time. This format creates a constant fight for visibility. On Spaciom, the content is displayed through space in a fully customizable virtual room. You are not at the mercy of time; you display your content how you want it to be seen and enjoyed!

True Digital Ownership
Every item in the Spaciom ecosystem will act as a physical object you own; it is yours to keep, display or sell to someone else on our integrated marketplace thanks to our seamless and user-friendly Blockchain integration. We believe to gain global Web3 adoption, we need to make the tools simpler for the average user. We are proud to have designed an ownership & exchange interface that interacts with the Blockchain on behalf of the user for a seamless and friendly integration. Of course, as a Cardano community member, you will be able to connect your wallet directly to our platform, access our marketplace, and display your NFTs.
But is it just the Metaverse?
You may have noticed that we have not used the word 'Metaverse' in the description of our project. We don't consider ourselves a Metaverse project for the simple reason that our approach is fundamentally different. We are not trying to bring people into a virtual world where they can lose their connection with reality. We are expanding reality with our digital layer and retaining what makes us human. You may also have noticed that we have not mentioned avatars. We believe today's technology used to create and animate avatars is not mature yet for global adoption. It is a dramatic loss in definition compared to a real-life interaction or even a conversation through a webcam. We believe in enhancing, not reducing. Instead of bringing people into a video game-like platform, we believe in bringing them value in their day-to-day life.
Spaciom represents a great opportunity for the Cardano Blockchain. Not only we are building a strong use case in the form of a cutting-edge social platform and an NFT marketplace, but we will also bring a tone of exciting content from the world's top artists, athletes, sports teams, content creators, brands, and franchises to the Cardano Blockchain.
As previously mentioned, bringing digital ownership to our users is a key part of our platform. Every item in the Spaciom ecosystem will act just like a physical object you own; it is yours to keep, display or sell to someone else on our integrated marketplace thanks to our seamless and user-friendly Web3 integration. Some of our users may not even realize they are using the Blockchain every time they make an action on Spaciom.
As a result of our ambitious strategy and our potential to become a mainstream social platform, we believe we have the possibility to bring a multi-million user base to the Cardano Blockchain.
Our main Key Performance Indicator(KPI) is our number of Monthly Active Users(MAU). According to our multi-scenarios projection, we will reach the first million users in our 3rd year with a monthly growth of 12% or in our 5th year with a monthly growth of only 8.5%. We consider these numbers to be very conservative.
Another important measure of success, but a less quantifiable one, is the quality of partnerships and content creator presence on Spaciom. As content is a key part of our success, the Cardano community will certainly enjoy having the on-chain presence of some of their favorite artists, athletes, brands, franchises, etc.
After the initial development phase estimated to be around 6 months, we will go into our private testing phase. It would be our pleasure to welcome select members of the Cardano community to test our platform on various devices and collect their valuable feedback.
Once testing is completed, we will publicly launch the platform. Everyone will be able to register, create their own virtual space, upload their content, share their NFTs, and explore different worlds.
As a platform, we certainly welcome NFT projects, DAOs, and communities to come to Spaciom and use our tools to tell their stories, distribute their content and reach a new audience.
At Spaciom, we have many ideas for expanding our scope in different directions once we deliver a solid foundation and reach product-market fit. We certainly plan to add more features that will enhance our users' journey into our platform.
Over the last year, we have conducted much research and forged solid partnerships that will enable us to realize our vision. The first iteration of the platform has already been fully planned and priced out. Our development partner is awaiting the fund to start building within a 2 to 3 weeks delay. We are already in discussion with various important brands and key players in the sports and entertainment industry. We are at a point where the only thing preventing us to go forward is funding.
As for the use of funds, we vow to be completely transparent and fully cooperate with the reviewers. We plan to open a dedicated bank account for the fund received through this proposal and match every outgoing amount with an admissible receipt.
We will respect the established milestones proposed and only accept the next installment once we can fully demonstrate our advancement.
Pre-launch, one of our main quantifiable goals is to achieve a reach between 50 million and 100 million potential users at launch through our partners. We're doing it by providing a virtual experience for our partners in exchange for visibility on their network. With the traction we already have so far, we are on track to exceed these numbers. Based on this launch strategy, we expect to reach our first million monthly active users within the first 3 years. Looking at comparable products, our numbers are conservative and don't account for the potential of a viral effect.
Over the past year, we have already conducted a number of technical tests, developed a proof-of-concept application using Augmented Reality, and are currently building some features of our final platform. We have partnered with a trusted US development company that possesses an impressive record of achievements and clients such as the US government. With our expertise and allies, we have the resources to achieve our vision.

Once this phase is completed, we will have a fully functional platform that allows the users to create an account, edit their profile, explore different content such as the newest additions and trending spaces on the home page, and enter already created virtual spaces.
Content Creation (Month 3 to 8)
During this phase, our creative team will complete multiple projects for the creation of different virtual experiences for our partners. These spaces will be fully explorable using the infrastructure mentioned in the above milestone. Our team will also create multiple customization options and assets for users to create their own spaces. Progress will be easy to demonstrate as our team will deliver on a number of projects in series during this phase.

After these features have been developed, users will be able to create and customize their own virtual spaces, import NFTs from their wallets, and upload content such as pictures, videos, and 3D objects.

During testing, we will collect bug reports and feedback from our testers. Once debugging is done, our product will be optimized and ready for launch.

The total fund we are requesting to build, release the platform, implement subsequent features, hire, market the product as well as create content and cover the fixed costs for a duration of 12 months after launch is $750,000. We have currently secured an investment and we are in discussion with other investors to raise the remaining amount needed. We also benefit from the services and network of a startup accelerator based in the US. At the time of writing, our ask for ₳600,000 is equivalent to $180,000 which would cover most of the development of the platform estimated at $225,000. We are also in talks with potential clients to provide them with a virtual experience for the brands, which would bring revenue to Spaciom and help fund development.
As we are ambitiously aiming to create a multi-million users platform within the first few years of operation, we would bring new users to the Cardano Blockchain at an acquisition cost of less than $0.18 per user (requested amount of $180,000/₳600,000 divided by 1,000,000 users). These new users would perform on-chain operations as well as support content creators and projects based on Cardano.
Our platform will also be used as a lunch pad for NFT projects and DAOs. They will be able to use our immersive technologies to tell their stories, explain their technology and goals in a visual way, and create a welcoming place for their communities to live and exchange.
As a result of partnering up with world-renown artists, athletes, brands, and franchises, we will be bringing these entities to the Cardano Blockchain along with their valuable content.
