Students are discovering the Blockchain world, and they might be unaware of some tool or some projects they could work with.
We want to create a students Blockchain community worldwide where, by the bias of calls every two weeks, we'll have discussions with all of them and people will be able to present some projects/tools.
This is the total amount allocated to Blockchain Student community.

No dependencies
Project will be fully open source
Students that already have a step into Blockchain are still learning everyday about different tools and different projects that the Blockchains are giving them. This is an issue in the way that they might miss some other projects that could be much more interesting for them and where they could make even more impact or where they could do something that in really interesting for them.
Our idea was then to try to create a real students Blockchain community in order to discuss these different aspects of the different Blockchains.Â
In order to do that, we want to do calls every two weeks with the students where the students will be able to present some of their projects or give info, as well as to listen and learn from the other ones.
Our plan to gather all the students together is to get in some Blockchain groups, on Telegram or Discord, not necessarily related to students, and we will make a post with the information needed to get in our own Telegram group where all the info about our calls will be shared.Â
We already have a few examples of groups :Â
The calls are not only dedicated to students but the group is mostly for the students to feel integrated in the Blockchain community.
At the beginning of each call, there will be a little speech about Cardano and Catalyst, so we can bring some awareness and try onboarding some students.
Liam and I will be the moderators of the group and will check that there are no profanities or scams shared in the group.
Lastly, there will be the possibility to invite people that are not necessarily students to come and speak, which might help too if we do not have any student speaker at the moment.
The proposals on this challenge need to be made by students and/or for the students.
Benjamin is a 19 y/o business international student in a Business school in France and already have some experience with catalyst as a CA and funded proposer from Fund 9.Â
Liam is a student in Switzerland that got onboarded for fund 10 and is actively involved in innovation and events for students in his university, and tries to connect students with the news that comes to our world.
Moreover, for this project we are aiming to help onboarding students in the Catalyst project since we believe that students are a really important aspect of the ecosystem and educating them is a great way to ensure a good future.
The success of the project will be measured by these aspects :Â
We will record each one of the calls that we make and share them on the monthly reports, they will also probably be posted on a public YouTube channel created for the occasion so the students that missed it will be able to watch it.
Moreover, we will share the stats of the Telegram group we make :Â
Lastly, we will share on the closing report and the closing video the summary of everything we have done in order for the community to have a global approach on our project and of the impact that it had.
There are several people that have communities in different domains. Having feedback from them to help improve ourselves to ensure a good running of this experience will not be too difficult.Â
Benjamin and Liâm have both a great understanding of the blockchain world, and are both passionate about this. Then, managing a community that shares the same hobbies and interests will not be a daunting task.Â
To finish, they both have experience in student association management, meaning that they already know how students work and how to manage them to avoid problems and to captivate them.Â
For the accountability, itâll not be a big deal as the data we are aiming to use for the metrics are easily findable, and shareable.Â
The main goals of our projects are :Â
All the calls that we have will be recorded and shared in a YouTube channel created for the project
We will also write all the projects that have been presented and will share them on a doc with a small description to the community, it will be available on the closing report.
Concerning the number of people that come to our group and in our calls, we will create an Excel sheet that summarizes all the information needed and how we tried to improve our methods according to the data. This sheet will also be shared in the closing report.
TOTAL : 22320 ADA
Most of the funding here will be used for our time and dedication to the project, as students we will need to work extra time after class in order to finish this project.
This project is in our opinion very impactful for the ecosystem since students are part of the future, and if they are not incentivized about Blockchain projects and about ways to make the world better, it might make the evolution that we could have slower.
We really believe that students are full of ideas and that they are just missing ways to realize them, this project would be a great solution to mitigate that.
Liâm Bodin is a 19 years-old student in the University of Geneva, passionate by use cases of blockchain technologyÂ
Liam has a Twitter account and a newly launched newsletter dedicated to Blockchain and has participated in several workshops or events related to Blockchain (i.e : Cardano summit in Lausanne)
His role :Â will analyze and summarize the pools. He will also manage the work of the external developer, helping this person to adapt the website to the vision we had as a âdynamic and understandableâ website.

Benjamin is a young student that is really interested in Blockchain, and that already participated in previous funds.
In fund 8 helped to do the marketing for an art projectÂ
Got 3 funded proposals on fund 9 based on the education of students about Blockchain, and especially, Cardano and Catalyst.
