Bridging the Mental Health Industry on Cardano, creating job opportunities for therapists and providing accessible and free therapy sessions to people in need through trading volume generated in ADA.
This is the total amount allocated to Bridging the Mental Health Industry on Cardano, a Market Size of $410bn..
We’ll create a Dapp where therapists and clients use DIDs, NFT CIP-68, and our CNT asset for therapy sessions. Free therapies will be secured through trading volume, ensuring accessibility for all.
No dependencies
The project outputs will be fully open source based on the Apache license 2.0
Creating a platform (Coffee Monks - Dapp) that bridges the mental health industry with blockchain technology by providing accessible and free therapies. These are funded through trading volume generated and donations, accumulated in a treasury for those in need to claim.
This real-world utility can attract users outside the blockchain ecosystem, motivating them to access free therapy sessions just by learning how to use a Cardano Native Wallet. No investment, trading, or token gambling is required to claim a free session.
Therapists will be able to register on the platform by creating a DID in the form of an NFT CIP-68. Clients will then have the ability to rate sessions connected to the therapist’s DID, creating a scoring system that ensures both the quality of service and the professionalism of the therapists
Clients will need to mint an NFT to book an appointment on the platform, and they get two therapy sessions, one is included in their first mint and the second in the form of our Cardano Native Asset "Coffee Monks" (Fungible Token).
By minting the NFT, clients receive one NFT with the art of Coffee Monks in their wallet. This NFT essentially creates a profile for the client to use the platform, while simultaneously granting access to book their first 60-minute therapy session.
After the completion of the first therapy session, clients will receive our Cardano Native Asset, "Coffee Monks" (fungible token), which they can use to book their second therapy on our platform.
The client's NFT-Profile is a DID, storing and updating information such as the quantity and frequency of sessions.
This information levels up the client's profile, offering them rebates and discounts for using the platform for future therapy sessions.
Token Use Cases:
The Coffee Monks CNT (fungible token) will have 3 use cases:
Purchasing More Therapies
After the 2 initial therapies, users of the platform can continue their sessions by purchasing additional therapy packages using ADA or a native stablecoin.
Every time a purchase like the above occurs, the platform will donate a percentage (%) to the treasury of free therapies in the form of the Cardano Native Token "Coffee Monks."
This mechanism essentially functions as a "Buy and Burn" process with an added donation step, as every "Coffee Monks" token used for therapy is automatically burned at the end of the session, elevating the mechanism to a "Buy and Donate Burn" system.
Trading Volume Generates Free Therapies
Fees from our Liquidity Pools will be accumulating Coffee Monk Tokens in the Treassury for Free Therapy Sessions.
Global Reach of The Platform
The "Coffee Monks" project aims to connect therapists and clients globally, offering services in multiple languages and cultural contexts.
The platform is designed to welcome people from all over the world, ensuring that clients from any region can find the right match while giving equal job opportunities to every person from any place of the world.
Team of Therapists
Therapists from Greece, Kenya, and Chile have already expressed interest in joining the Coffee Monks project and are eager to be onboarded once we launch.
We’re also making an open call to the Cardano community for therapists to apply and be part of the Therapists Portfolio of the Platform.
In addition, the team of the “Coffee Monks” project is already in contact with universities in Greece to establish partnerships for an internship program. Intern Therapists will be able to complete the required hours they need to enter the work field.
These interns will be supervised by professional psychologists to ensure the quality of the sessions.
Coffee Monks Project is here for the Long Term to make a Better World through Mental Health Awareness and Blockchain Adoption.
The success of the "Coffee Monks" project would bring another real-world utility case to the Cardano blockchain by raising mental health awareness and promoting blockchain adoption.
It would help spread blockchain usage to individuals unfamiliar with the technology, allowing them to access free therapy sessions using a Cardano native wallet without the need to invest, trade, or gamble any capital.
The "Coffee Monks" project will also create job opportunities within the Cardano community, including positions for psychologists, counselors, administrative staff, and other roles that may arise as the project succeeds.
Additionally, members of the Cardano community will have the opportunity to access or donate a therapy session for free, encouraging motivation and positive interactions among members.
