ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
The Dallas Mavericks (Mavs) are an American professional basketball team based in Dallas. The Mavericks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Southwest Division of the Western Conference. The team plays its home games at the American Airlines Center, which it shares with the National Hockey League's Dallas Stars.
In February 2020, the Mavericks sold out their NBA-record 815th consecutive game, dating back to December 15, 2001. The sellout streak, which includes 67 playoff games, is the longest currently running in North American major league sports. Since the Mavericks' inaugural 1980–81 season, the Mavericks have won five division titles (1987, 2007, 2010, 2021, 2024), three conference championships (2006, 2011, 2024) and one NBA championship (2011).

We will collaborate with key companies in the ecosystem such as NMKR, stuff.io, Neucast.io, Andamio to develop the best use cases for Sport teams.
Our approach is unique as it focuses on understanding the needs and offering concrete use cases without initial sales pressure, allowing Dallas Mavericks to make more informed decisions about blockchain adoption and further develop or enhance their strategy. This initiative will benefit the entire Cardano ecosystem by driving mid/long-term users & adoption in a significant global industry.
In 2025, we additionally plan to organize a minimum of one (1) panel discussions featuring Cardano alongside Dallas Mavericks leadership to showcase its work, approach, and philosophy within the sector. This will drive the conversation to companies/brands in the Sports industry.
By engaging Dallas Mavericks, as the initial organization - over time we aim to foster a thriving ecosystem that empowers blockchain innovation in the sports sector.
