The challenge is the low awareness and participation in Cardano governance.
Our plan? Empower the community by creating working groups at Universities, encouraging participation!
This is the total amount allocated to Cardano Governance Working Groups in Universities.
We will create working groups in two Universities in Mexico to educate and engage the community in Cardano governance.
No dependencies
It is not technical but all information will be made public
We are going to organize working groups in 3 Universities (UAT, UNAM & UAN), each one will have a series of 3 workshops:
1.- Introduction to Cardano & Project Catalyst
2.- Decentralized Governance: CIP-1694
3.- Delegate Representative (DRep)
We will focus on Universities previously related to Cardano in order to generate a greater impact by interacting with people who are already interested in blockchain technology.
These Workshops at each university will allow for a deep and gradual understanding of the principles and features of Cardano, which will increase community participation and interest.
We will cover topics such as decentralized governance and the role of Delegated Representatives (DRep), providing participants with information on the current state of the Cardano network and how they can participate in it.
At least 50 students will attend each of these workshops.
They will benefit from better understanding Cardano and how they can get involved in its ecosystem.
By increasing understanding and participation in Cardano in these key Universities, the network benefits from greater adoption and contribution to its development and governance.
Our focus is to bring together experts, enthusiasts and newcomers in a dynamic event that educates, engages and promotes Cardano. This event will feature workshops, panels and networking opportunities, involving students from this university.
Our goal is to start adoption and showcase the unique benefits of Cardano. This initiative is crucial for Cardano's expansion with educational institutions, benefiting both the local university community and the Cardano ecosystem in general.
This workshops will be taught by people from the Cardano community with experience in this type of events.
Our project will have a significant impact on the ecosystem by increasing the adoption and use of Cardano in Latin America.
To measure the success and impact of the proposal, we want to reach the following metrics:
150 new Cardano wallets
150 CNFTs minted
150 users participating in Cardano governance.Â
3 Top Educational Institutions in Mexico involved in governance
Once the students have participated in the 3 workshops we will follow up with them through the telegram community group and social networks in order to onboard them to the Cardano ecosystem and the use of dapps, DeFi and governance.
The goal is also to familiarize the universities with the Cardano blockchain and governance to create their own working groups.

The costs of our proposal represent a great value to the Cardano ecosystem. Travel and lodging expenses are designed to provide comfort and security for the team. Marketing materials and speaker fees are reasonable and necessary to promote the event and ensure its quality.
Expenses related to venue and project management are intended to create a complete educational experience and cover any unforeseen events. With an experienced team and careful planning, we are confident that these costs represent a sound investment in the expansion and adoption of Cardano in Latin America.
