We intend to spread the knowledge of Cardano in Accra, Ghana. Attention will be focused on Churches since Ghana is a predominantly a Christian Country. The target is to reach about 300 youths.
This is the total amount allocated to EXTENDING CARDANO PARTICIPATION TO CHURCHES IN ACCRA, GHANA.
We will promote Cardano participation among the youth in various churches in and around Accra through the organization of symposia and other events. Lessons will also be given on onboarding.
No dependencies
Project outputs will be made available through:
The publication of monthly reports and videos will be published on You tube. such information will include the number of people who participate in the symposia and also details of people who have successfully been onboarded.
Our proposal seeks to raise awareness of the Cardano ecosystem among the youths of Ghana with emphasis on youths in selected churches in Ghana. The target is to reach a total of 300 young men and women within the ages of 18 to 45. This group of people are the active working population of the country with a high probability of exposure to technology.
The strategy we shall deploy will be to pay scheduled visits to various churches in Accra and engage young minds by telling them of the opportunities that exist in Cardano. Having whet their appetite, we shall now schedule the first meeting for all the participants at one venue. Here, we shall educate them about the opportunities that exist on Cardano and how their experience on Cardano will help shape and enhance their current or future fields of endeavor.
Subsequent meetings will be held and active participants will be onboarded. The new 'converts' will be encouraged to take up the role of community reviewers. Subsequently, they will be encouraged to register as proposers and gradually take up more involving roles in the ecosystem.
About 300 people are targeted out of which an estimated number of 150 will be onboarded. Various seminars will be held for the purposes of education and training. Excursions will be organized to add a touch of fun to the whole experience.
The project will positively impact both the Cardano and the Ghanaian communities in the following ways:
A minimum of 150 people will be onboarded thereby increasing the population in the Cardano ecosystem.
A targeted population of 100 people may be interested in becoming community reviewers
Financially, the participants will earn some income from their participation in the Cardano project thereby reducing the incidence of unemployment in Ghana, the beneficiary country.
Yoroi wallets will be opened for interested participants with an amount of 5 ADA. This move will significantly increase the number of Ada holders in the Community.
The project Lead and members of his team are all active participants in the Cardano Community and they also possess the requisite skills and expertise needed to see this project through to a successful end.
For instance, Wisdom Gidimadjor: Team Lead & Resource person. Wisdom participated in Fund 10 and Fund 11 as a community reviewer and has developed so much love and passion for the activities of Cardano. He is wide read and has therefore read extensively and consulted on what it takes to be a proposer and a project leader. He has currently enrolled in Fund 12 as a community reviewer. He holds a Master's Degree in Economic Policy Management and a First degree in Political Science, both from the University of Ghana. He has about 15 years of experience in the area of teaching and research. Wisdom is also a good public speaker and has the ability to convince people to believe in his ideas.

She also served as a challenge team member for Grow Africa and Grow Cardano Challenge in Fund 8. She again participated in Fund 9 as a community Assessor. She is a funded proposer for Fund 10. Faakor is an experienced workshop facilitator. She is also a qualified Human Resource Management Practitioner with several years of experience in this endeavor.
And Marian Gidimadjor is an open-minded person who has a first degree in Human Resource Management. She has about ten years of working experience as a researcher. She has worked as a data entry officer, a data analyst. She later become the Manager of the Data Department of Innovations for Poverty Action, an AMERICAN NGO that is based in Ghana. She is very meticulous with issues regarding data and will therefore be very instrumental in this proposal execution. Marian has participated in Fund 9, Fund10 and Fund 11 as a community reviewer.
Concerning validating the feasibility of our approach, the proposal seeks to target prospective participants in various churches in Accra, Ghana. The approach will involve a sensitization drive where the project team members will move from church to church to preach the good news of Cardano to them. Having identified interested participants, a meeting will be organized at a chosen venue where the team will take them through the nitty gritty of Cardano. The project lead is a very active and influential member of the Roman Catholic Church who has been organizing various events for the church. He has already tested the waters by speaking to some young men in his church community and they have shown preparedness to come on board.
Marian is a very active member in her church community, and she also belongs to a number of religious groups and associations. She will leverage on the roles she plays both at church and in her other religious organizations to bring on board people in the target group. Her expanse knowledge in research will be utilized to the advantage of the project team. In addition, Marian has good organizational ability and would therefore help in coordinating and organizing various events for the team.
300 is a manageable number. the Team will be able to ensure high level of participation among the participants which will eventually culminate in populating Cardano.
Sensitization and campaign in selected churches to identify individuals who are interested in coming on board. The targeted population for this milestone is 100 participants.
These individuals will then be hosted at a chosen venue where they will be given enough information on Cardano
Links will also be shared with the participants to obtain more information on Cardano community, project catalyst and Yoroi wallet creation
it is expected that about 50 percent of the participants will be onboarded. They will be aided to register on the ideascale platform and Yoroi wallets will be created for them.
A report will be presented on the interaction with participants. Pictures will be taken and videos will be recorded for the purposes of record keeping.

This project proposal provides great value for money. This can be gleaned from the fact that an estimated number of 150 will be added to the Cardano community thereby increasing community enrolment and participation in Accra and Ghana as a whole. The use of ADA will also significantly be enhanced. It will also provide an avenue for the target community to get rewarded for decent work done.
Various items in the budget have been reasonably priced, considering inflation and the general cost of living in Ghana. Only items relevant for this research have been included in the budget. The various costs attached to each item were arrived at after carefully comparing prices on the market to ensure value for money and comfortability of our participants. Social media will be relied on extensively for awareness creation in order to reduce cost of publicity. The project team members are professionals with several years of experience and therefore need to be reasonably compensated.
