Current regulations, following the change in government, particularly DNU 70/23, in the Argentine Republic, have provided legal strength and certainty to contracts conducted in ₳.
No dependencies.
After the meticulous drafting, execution, correction, and review of contracts by legal experts and academics, and the successful completion of the legal transactions, those contracts will be made accessible to individuals worldwide interested in visiting Argentine territory and celebrating ADA-based contracts.
In light of the foregoing, any project, individual, or entity adhering to the template, customizing the information, and, if desired, following the recommendations, will have the capability to engage in various types of contracts in Argentina using ADA, in full compliance with local laws, thereby unlocking and facilitating new opportunities for use cases.
Contracts for rental, purchase and sale, loan, and/or employment will be entered into and executed. The application of each type of contract will depend on the results of the investigations and their practical feasibility.
This proposal is aligned with UN SDGs goals 4, 8, 9, and 16.
If you are part of the Cardano ecosystem, it's likely you've heard, amidst various discussions, the pressing need for both projects and individuals, within and beyond the community, for Cardano to have more real-world use cases and a robust legal framework.
The main goal of this proposal is to initiate a series of legally binding transactions reflective of a tangible economy. These transactions aim to provide businesses with the necessary legal foundation, ensuring not only the enforceability of contracts but also the ability to seek full ADA-based restitution in the event of non-compliance through judicial channels.
The primary goal of this proposal is to conduct thorough research, drafting, and review processes by esteemed academics and professionals for the following business transactions. Once these transactions are accompanied by successful cases, the contract templates will be shared with the community, along with recommended guidelines for future engagements.
The identified business transactions to be undertaken include: loan agreements, employment or service provision contracts, purchase agreements, and potentially, real estate rental contracts, based on feasibility studies.
This proposal transcends mere research, as it entails drafting and implementing these contracts in a real economy, with real people and tangible assets, ensuring clear and certain legal and civil responsibility. Once these results are delivered and the success of the business is analyzed both legally and in its practical application in everyday life, the contract templates will be made available to the community for their future use at their convenience.
Therefore, the project will include research, drafting, professional review, real-world application, and community engagement for the creation of business contracts. Contracts for rental, purchase and sale, loans, and/or employment will be drafted, executed, and implemented based on the results of the investigations and their practical feasibility.
As previously stated, upon successful demonstration and execution of the contractual obligations and eventual fulfillment of the contract undertaken between the parties, the contracts will be made publicly available for utilization within the community for their respective business endeavors or personal interests, should they choose to do so, irrespective of their nature.
From a broader viewpoint, either through a community-driven initiative or by future projects, beyond the inherent functionality and tangible impact delineated above, Cardano is poised to showcase a portfolio of successful cases that can be disseminated through strategic press coverage or effective marketing campaigns aimed at engaging a wider audience. This approach not only highlights the network and native token capabilities but also serves to inspire confidence and foster broader adoption within the ecosystem.
Regarding feasibility, it's a matter easily addressed as our current legal framework supports us. We adhere to Articles 765, 766, and 958 of the Civil and Commercial Code of the Argentine Republic, as amended by Articles 250, 251, and 255 of Executive Decree 70/23.
As for my personal skills, trust, and reputation, they are qualities developed over time. My involvement in the Cardano community spans several years, during which I consistently delivered on proposed initiatives with excellence. This dedication has led to my appointment as a Cardano Ambassador by the Cardano Foundation, recognizing my contributions to the ecosystem.
In terms of my capabilities and academic background, I am an associate lawyer at the S&R firm and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Law and Economics at UBA, the country's most prestigious university. Additionally, I've been awarded the Deep Dive scholarship by the University of Zurich for intensive studies in Blockchain law and economics, being the first Argentine to participate in this program.
Within the Cardano ecosystem, I actively contribute as a member of the LATAM & EUROPE Cardano Community teams, organizing events and contributing to workshops and proposed changes, including CIP 1694, and various aspects of governance.
The contracts will undergo rigorous review by legal professionals in practice, as well as esteemed professors from UBA and UNLP, renowned institutions in the legal field, the two most prestigious universities in Argentina, as supported by the following rankings:
Research, development, and drafting of 4 contracts utilizing ADA as the method of payment to fulfill contractual obligations, i.e., to discharge them, with various legal natures for the execution of diverse business transactions. Accompanied by an annex in English for universal understanding.
The deliverables and acceptance criteria for this milestone will include the delivery of these contracts, ensuring their readability and logical coherence.
The review process for the 4 contracts will engage legal professionals including lawyers, academic professors, jurists, or legal scholars. Following their initial revisions and adjustments, the contracts will be supplemented with a signed statement identifying the reviewer, their curriculum vitae, professional background, and an evaluation of the feasibility and applicability of the contract between parties, accompanied by a brief legal-technical analysis.
These statements or letters, along with their corresponding English translations, will be furnished upon completion of the milestone. The acceptance criterion will entail reviewing the content and findings of the assessments rendered by these professionals/academics.
First Real Use Case, Signing Event, and Initiation of Execution of the First Contract.
To demonstrate the completion of this milestone, we will submit the original contract signed by the parties, marking the commencement of its execution. Additionally, an annex containing its translation into English, along with the corresponding signatures, seals, or legal documentation from the notary or authorities, will be provided.
Conclusion of the Initial Legal Transaction
As we finalize the initial legal transaction, we are prepared to deliver a thorough evaluation report outlining the results and execution of the contract. This comprehensive report will be accompanied by the finalized contracts and evidence of their successful execution.
In this milestone, the remaining 3 signed contracts will be delivered, with the legal seals of the notary or corresponding authority, indicating the legal transaction being conducted in each, along with their respective annexes translated into English. The acceptance criterion will focus on the review of the provided supporting documentation.
The ultimate phase of our project will be marked by an exhaustive presentation, incorporating all relevant documents, including letters, contracts, seals, and signatures, meticulously curated throughout our endeavor. Complementing this, a thorough evaluation report will be compiled, meticulously scrutinizing every aspect of our work and the implementation of each contract.
Upon completion of this presentation, the contract templates will be disseminated to the community, accompanied by a comprehensive set of guidelines designed to facilitate their seamless integration into business operations. This pivotal milestone not only signifies the successful conclusion of our project but also underscores our commitment to empowering the community with the resources and insights essential for navigating complex legal landscapes with confidence and competence.

It is estimated that, due to the research, corrections, revisions, and approval by academics and professionals, as well as the task of finding willing parties to carry out these legal acts, and the normal development and supervised execution of the contract, accompanied by documentation and presentation of the results, the proposal will take between 7 to 8 months of work to be completed. Therefore, the detailed budget breakdown is as follows:
The project's cost represents significant value for the Cardano ecosystem due to several key factors. It ensures legal compliance through the involvement of professionals and academics, facilitating transactions in ADA with legal implications. This aspect is crucial for establishing trust and credibility within the ecosystem.
