Hiring a sworn translator in Russian and a proofreader to translate the Cardano for the Masses book by John Greene in Russian.

Currently, there is no Russian Translation of the Cardano for the Masses book. As per the Babel Magazine only slightly more than 5% of Russians speak English which inhibits the understanding of Cardano and the adoption of the technology from that part of the world.

By translating Cardano for the Masses in Russian, it will allow for Russian citizens to have a reliable resource to learn about Cardano, understand and adopt the technology.

The short term quantifiable results are a bit difficult to predict specifically but I would say in the first 12 months to have 12 between 100 and 1000 units sold. Long term, the idea is to make the book the go-to guide for understanding Cardano with potentially thousands or millions units sold.

Taking a worst case scenario into account where the book would not be popular at all in the short terml, there would at least be a resource in Russian, Russian people involved with Cardano would be able to point people at in order to get educated.

[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

This will depend on the translator and / or agency used. I made research and the highest quote I got for a 200.000 word book was 23,000 USD and thus I use that as a benchmark.

In terms of proofreading, 4 - 5 USD per page of proofreading and hence 5 USD * 450 pages assuming the book is a bit bigger than the current English version that would be 2250 for one proofreading assignment. More so in case more would be needed to be done as a revision.
