The ReFi industry lacks a centralized platform to access rigorous scientific research. In addition, scientists or disseminators must pay to publish their research on platforms.
This is the total amount allocated to Clorofila: ReFi Scientific Articles Hub.
Our platform provides open access to high-quality, peer-reviewed articles on ReFi and DeSci.
No dependencies.
The scientific articles that are published on the platform will be freely accessible and people will be able to see them for free. However, we want to protect the intellectual property of scientists. That is why it will be partially open source.
How do you perceive the problem you are solving?
The problem governs the barrier to access to making scientific publications in public media such as scientific journals, university journals or traditional media such as digital magazines. Which ends up leading to fewer publications of scientific papers and, therefore, less progress for humanity. Since at Chlorophyll, we believe that the greater the development in research, the greater the advancement of humanity.
What are your reasons for approaching it the way you have?
The traceability and visualization that the use of the blockchain gives us is unmatched. By creating ReFi Scientific Articles Hub so that scientists can visualize their projects, we will help them obtain funding through donations to their own Cardano wallet so they can continue their research. Without charging any type of fee for donations.
Who will your project involve?
The project involves Clorofila, the largest community of environmental professionals in Argentina. Which has more than 3000 active members. The vast majority of them have doctorates, master's degrees and engineering degrees in environmental sciences.
We know that with the Clorofila community we will be able to create the first ReFi Scientific Articles Hub on blockchain in the world.
How will you demonstrate or prove your impact?
Blockchain technology allows us to track the transactions and publications that will be made in the ReFi Scientific Articles Hub. With that in mind, let's create the following indicators:
Explain what is special about your solution, who will benefit, and why this is important for Cardano.
The solution we propose from Clorofila is the first ReFi Scientific Articles Hub in the world. This innovative solution by integrating blockchain into scientific articles would allow scientists to publish their papers and research on a global platform at no cost. When other platforms charge them hundreds and even thousands of dollars to do it. Likewise, it would also allow scientists to quickly access the publication of their papers and research to protect their intellectual property. While at the same time each scientist will be able to receive donations to their own Cardano wallet. Which will help finance your research.
The biggest beneficiaries would be scientists around the world.
Cardano is by far the most sustainable blockchain in the world. The philosophy of sustainability by which the Cardano community is governed makes it our first option when choosing the blockchain in which to create the ReFi Scientific Articles Hub.
We believe that Desci is one of the priorities within Cardano. Promoting these types of projects is the most important thing the Cardano community can do to impact the world. In turn, this would generate more wallet openings, more blockchain transactions, and more recognition of Cardano in the world.
How will the success of your project bring value to the Cardano community?
The success of Clorofila ReFi Scientific Articles Hub will help continue positioning Cardano as the blockchain par excellence that promotes and encourages a more sustainable world as well as DeSci.
At the same time, Cardano's positioning in Argentina and Latin America will increase significantly thanks to the community that Clorofila has.
This will generate greater opening of wallets, more transactions on the Cardano blockchain and greater use of ADA.
How will you measure this impact?
The impact will be measured based on the following three indicators:
Total publications: Number of scientific publications in ReFi Scientific Articles Hub.
Total visits: Number of organic visits made to the ReFi Scientific Articles Hub.
Total donations: Amount of donations to Cardano wallets to scientists directly.
How will you share the results and opportunities that arise from your project?
The results and opportunities that arise will be shared from a quarterly report in ReFi Scientific Articles Hub. Likewise, on the Clorofila social networks and the Cardano communities with which we have already established alliances.
The person who is running the Clorofila company is Lucas Emmanuel Cariddi, an entrepreneur and Graduate in Environmental Management with more than five years of experience in the crypto ecosystem. In the team section, you will be able to see his work history which includes various companies in the crypto ecosystem, private sector companies and NGOs linked to the environment with which Lucas Emmanuel Cariddi worked in the past.
His profile is completely transparent on all social networks and he is an active member of the Cardano community in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The approach to the problem was validated with members of the Clorofila community (3000 people), as well as with researchers from the UADE (Universidad Argentina de la Empresa) and the UBA (University of Buenos Aires).
Milestone 1:
Development of the front and back of the platform, this must be developed together with a UX and UI team so that the ReFi Scientific Articles Hub is simple enough to understand for web2 users. The simpler it is, the more users we will attract.
A: Creation of the ReFi Scientific Articles Hub.
B: Make it simple enough for web2 users to create users, publish scientific articles and interact on the Cardano blockchain.
C: Publication of 100 users within the ReFi Scientific Articles Hub.
The ReFi Scientific Paper Center may be wonderful, but without users to use it it is useless. That is why milestone 2 will consist of an aggressive marketing campaign on social networks, mainly LinkedIn, to gain users within the platform.
A: Generation of 1000 new accounts within the ReFi Scientific Articles Hub.
B: Generation of interactions, consultations and technical meetings. Today there are around 40,000 impressions on Clorofila LinkedIn alone, more than 200 monthly queries to Clorofila about blockchain and 40 monthly meetings to resolve direct queries with Lucas Emmanuel Cariddi, who is currently leading Clorofila.
C: The results of the marketing campaign will be the results obtained, we hope that 1000 new accounts will be generated within the ReFi Scientific Articles Hub.

Lucas Emmanuel Cariddi: He is the person who is currently leading Clorofila and the one who will lead the ReFi Scientific Articles Hub. Lucas will be in charge of managing the project and the marketing campaign to gain new users. Since he has years of experience in marketing campaigns for web3 companies.

Roles to cover:
Front Dev, Back Dev, UX and UI: These roles are fundamental for the development of the ReFi Scientific Articles Hub and, therefore, the success of the project. Roles will be filled once funding is allocated.
Project budgets and costs:
Salaries: Development team (including front, back, UX, UI and project manager): ₳70,000
Advertising, marketing, promotion and community engagement: ₳4,500
Hosting and domain: ₳500
The cost of the project is ₳75,000, which represents only 1% of the total budget allocated to Cardano Use Cases: Concept. Which is negligible considering this will be the first ReFi Scientific Articles Hub on any blockchain and the first on Cardano. Scientific progress is priceless.
