As university students, we see many students find education boring and lack work-ready skills. 90% of Vietnamese students lack soft skills, making it hard for employers to train them post-graduation.

We created an idea allowing students to endorse role-playing games to make studying fun and interactive. The mix of role-playing and learning platforms we give participants a learn-to-earn experience

Our project outputs will be available as open source throughout the project's duration. We are committed to encouraging collaboration, openness, and innovation in the Cardano community by making our codebase available to interested parties.
The Problem Insight:
Being university students ourselves, we understand that not only us but many students in the world find that education is very boring sometimes. We see that students feel bored 1⁄3 of the time in class and have insufficient skills for work. The evidence is that 90% of Vietnamese students lack soft skills, making it hard for employers to train them and costs time for them after graduation. Based on that, we developed an online environment that allows students to both study and be motivated thanks to its learn-to-earn experience. This platform is based on the development of learning platforms such as Canvas but those just support the learning resources otherwise our platform will provide for the users, mainly students, and lecturers more widely such as inspiring studying through interactive learn-to-earn.
Solution Overview:
Gamedu is the integration of Gamification into Education, through a Learn-to-earn basis to deliver Motivation, Engagement, Career Orientation, and Society for all students at all levels. Our platform aims to fill the educational gap, fostering a skilled Cardano community.
Approach: We aim to create a browser-based platform that provides an engaging online environment for students to expand their knowledge. To motivate learners, the platform incorporates a rewards system that makes the learning experience feel like gaming. It will feature interactive resources focused on smart contracts and blockchain operations, catering to all users
We are using smart contracts to revolutionize education by rewarding users for completing learning tasks and securely storing credentials. Each course or task is linked to a smart contract that verifies completion and automatically issues rewards, like merits or tokens, which learners can use or trade. It also stores diplomas and certificates, ensuring they are tamper-proof, easily verifiable, and globally accessible.
