Non-professional tennis players want to compete too. There are centralized ledgers/leagues. But we depend on 3rd party to organize/govern.
Create distributed ledger allowing players self-organize matches, keep scoreboards/ratings, and set own rules.
This is the total amount allocated to Tournaments for Tennis Players.
Basically, the idea is to create a token, let's call it BALL.
To play a match and put the score on a ledger "players" need to have some BALLs to pay.
To verify results of a match we need an "umpire" who should be incentivized with BALLs.
We need some "fans" also to delegate their BALLs to "umpire" as a guarantee for proper refereeing.
As an outcome, it would be great to build a community of players who can set up events and matches in a completely decentralized manner using public tennis courts, track results, have scoreboard and ranking on different skill levels.
If this idea is somewhat interesting, I would need some help from community to think through tokenomic and consensus mechanism. I have dev resources and designer create a MVP. My hope is to use part of issued BALLs tokens as a funding source for future growth.
Very curious to get your feedback... especially from fellow tennis players :)
50000I play tennis 2-3 times a wee.
I'm a programmer myself and I run a small dev team for 15 years by now.
We never did any dapps before though.
