Further Context
PlayerMint works to create a more fun, rewarding, and social experience for all players via crypto-assets. For this reason PlayerMint will initially be built as a Discord Bot (Twitch Bot and Application to be built in the future). The PlayerMint Bot will enable Discord Server Owners to create micro-economies within their servers, creating a profitable experience for them and their communities. Users of the bot will be able to get paid to play Fortnite through payouts of PMX, PlayerMint's fungible token, which occurs automatically every 5 days. PlayerMint users will be able to collect and trade PlayerMint Collectibles (our NFT system) through PMX.

Development Roadmap and Use of Funding
PlayerMint's development will occur in 2 phases. Phase 1 is the construction of the Discord Bot outlined in this proposal. 100% of the Catalyst funds will go towards PlayerMint's dev group Kromeon (https://kromeon.com/) to build Phase 1. Their development process is listed below. Phase 2 is PlayerMint's plans for the future. Phase 2 will be funded via future Catalyst rounds or with revenue from Phase 1. Phase 2 is included so that PlayerMint's long term goal and vision is apparent. Plans for phase 2 are described below.

- Phase 2 Description -
PlayerMint becomes the mint of the metaverse. Later this year Fortnite is turning into what Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeny calls the metaverse platform, an open shared virtual environment to create and explore through something called Creative 2.0. PlayerMint will provide creators of all levels the ability to tokenize metaverse assets such as skins, virtual art, virtual concert tickets etc. In doing so, PlayerMint will become the value layer of the metaverse and turn Cardano into the metaverse economy blockchain. PlayerMint also plans to use Cardano's governance tools to create a decentralized treasury system so that PlayerMints processes and future can be determined by the community that supports it.
Business Model
The PlayerMint business model has been constructed with the sustainability and longevity of the project in mind. PlayerMint mints PMX every 5 days. This means the years supply of tokens are minted in 73 separate epochs. Each epoch 80% of the minted tokens will fund the prize pool for people to get paid to play. The other 20% of the minted tokens will be distributed to the PlayerMint Team. On the non-fungible side 90% of the initial sale of the PlayerMint Collectibles will go to the artist. The other 10% will go to the PlayerMint Team. PlayerMint will also take a 2% royalty on all aftermarket Collectible sales. The artist is welcome to set a royalty of their choosing. This business model aligns incentives between the PlayerMint Team and community. In order for the Team to have sustainable revenue the community must be receiving meaningful payouts of PMX and see reason to mint Collectibles.

Here is what we have been up to since the last update: - We completed all testing and work on the preview testnet! This was a major accomplishment for the team as we had seen internal and external success across the platform. - We have now progressed on to internal mainnet testing. This means that we have initialized our smart contracts on the mainnet and have begun testing. So far we have successfully had a claim of a fungible token based off of real in-game data from Fortnite. We have also begun testing the minting tool and listing the minted NFTs on to the marketplace. We have accomplished an INCREDIBLE amount since our last report! Here's what we have been up to: - Completed all UI/UX issues that were found through testnet participation - Published fixes to all bugs that were found through testnet participation to a staging environment. This staging environment is currently being reviewed by the PlayerMint team to ensure they function as intended - A function for our NFT marketplace has been added so users can search NFTs by policy ID - The NFT syncing system that detects NFTs that were not minted through our own service has been completed and is currently being worked on in our staging environment - We are getting to the point where we will soon wrap up the testnet! We have been up to a huge amount over the last month! Our testnet is live and we are actively working towards a mainnet launch. Here is what we've been doing: - Publishing all bug fixes / UI changes to a staging environment that is currently going through a QA process - Updating the instance of the Cardano Transaction Library (C.T.L.) that we are using so that we can call Blockfrost through it. The purpose of this is to be able to securely query NFTs that are in a users wallet so that they can be displayed and listed on an NFT marketplace - Creating logic through C.T.L. that checks the users wallet for a specific policy ID. Based on this policy ID the user is allowed to generate XP or not (XP is what is used to determine PMX payouts). - Creating logic so that if a user changes their Epic Games username we can still query their gameplay performance to determine payout - The last big thing we have been working on is all go-to-market based practices we need to complete in The above info will be very similar to our Fund6 and Fund8 reports as they are all focused on the same project!
