User awareness, adoption, reduce barrier to entry. There are not as many people aware of smart contracts, their use and how to develop them.
First, build a friendly, process for education of smart contracts, use-cases and their development. Second, develop SDKs and/or transpiler..
This is the total amount allocated to Smart Contract Development Campaign.
Education/Reach:
Create videos for YouTube, social media, etc explaining smart contracts, etc in plain, easy-to-understand terms, and how they will affect the future. Using animations, real-world scenarios and great dialogue.
Hire PR firm to inject ADA/smart contracts into the public conversation on places like CNBC, etc.
Partner with an industry leader(s) to advocate for smart contracts in the public as social proof.
Reduce Barrier to Entry:
Create easy-to-use developer portal (or expand on the playground) with easy to follow tutorials, also create developer videos on youtube and online courses for udemy. These could feature real-world use cases.
Create SDKs for popular languages as frontends/sugar functions for Haskell. Also consider a transpiler where programming is done in JavaScript or nodeJS, then converted into Haskell.
Develop a site to connect companies and smart contract developers. For instance, I am a developer who would like to make smart contracts, however, I would like to find a company looking for developers to work on projects. Either as freelance, or temp to hire.
I just found out about this request for ideas today, so this is all off the top of my head. I am sure in a brain storming session, a lot more great ideas and direction would come out of it.
