A lot of integrations in the ecosystem depend on this library (Coinbase and Yoroi for example) and it will stop working for Alonzo
We will update this library for future updates to Cardano and also provide support & functionality to those who depend on it.

The Cardano Rust SDK is used by many exchanges (like Coinbase), many wallets (like Yoroi) and even most proposals you see to build an SDK for Cardano for a specific language are actually building wrappers or referencing our work.
This is because the library implements the Cardano binary specification directly, making it super versatile for many use cases, and the fact that it's written in Rust allows it to run anywhere from embedded systems, web browsers, to iOS/Android apps (ex. Yoroi Mobile).
With dozens of companies and hundreds of thousands of users depending on this library, we need to continue maintaining and updating it as Cardano evolves. There are three main components to this proposal:
