CARDONEX ⚡

Cardonex is a club for university talent from start-up hubs like India and many other developing countries focused on solving some of the most pressing issues in developing countries with the help of Cardano's Blockchain and instilling a culture of product creation through project catalyst. We are planning to start with India and then expanding further.

How Cardonex will achieve this?

We will be achieving our goals in phases with keeping a focus on fund 7 and fund 8 in the short term and overall expanding the Cardano ecosystem in the long run. We will keep adding more and more as our club grows.

Phase-1: Getting students from different universities onboard by conducting live webinars and Q/A sessions about Cardano and its ecosystem.
Phase-2: Conducting live trainings and workshops about Cardano's basic infrastructure, Plutus and Project Catalyst.
Phase-3: Organizing multiple hackathons in the Cardonex club and get them all ready for project catalyst.
Phase-4: Best students will be made student ambassadors for Cardano in their respective universities to spread further awareness, getting more and more students on board, and encouraging university management to build stake pools. 

How does success look like?

1. We are aiming to reach a user base of at least 2k students by the EOY.
2. We are planning to bring at least 3 proposals for each fund by the winners of our hackathons.
3. At least five student ambassadors in different colleges before fund 7 in top tech universities.
4. Raising awareness about Cardano and Project catalyst among students.
5. Bringing hundreds of skilled student developers to Plutus Pioneer Program.

Why are we the right persons?

We both have gained a significant amount of experience of the Cardano's ecosystem, from running a stake pool [SKRPT] to developing a dApp on Cardano's blockchain (deqree.in) and as we are university students ourselves, we are very well versed with the tech student community in startup hub countries like India. Also, we are currently having an outreach of around 10,000+ tech students from different universities all over India, some parts of UAE, Sri Lanka, etc. through different channels like Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Reddit, etc. as we all are part of an online degree program in India's top technical institute.

 
Roadmap

We will be launching Cardonex in October 2021. Our primary focus for the upcoming months is on creating quality proposals for fund 7 and fund 8 in project catalyst by skilled university individuals with all the phases rolling out one by one for each fund.

A. Govt of India has clearly stated they are completely open and encouraging about blockchain solutions in the country, they are just skeptical of crypto trading due to high volatility.
