Mechverse:Origin NFT based Game

We leverage Cardano Native Tokens to build a game experience where players use their wallet to engage in the game. We call it MechVerse.

Our Market is NFT Collectors, Crypto Enthusiast and NFT Curious between 25 and 35 years old. This category has the monetary freedom and resources to spend money in entertainment. We aim to grow 20% year over year, by offering a subscription based access controlled by an NFT Membership Pass. This market has generated more than 1 Billion Dollars in transactions in 2020-2021 and is expected to continue growing. There are big players in other blockchains but Cardano is missing its CriptoKitties moment.

MechVerse:Origin is a base-building strategy game (Like Rimworld, Factorio and Stardew Valley) inspired in space exploration embedded with Functional NFTs.

The core objective of the Outpost is to serve you as your home base to explore the vast MechVerse Universe. To Accomplish that, you will need to defend your settlement from pests, build and craft artifacts to automate the work, and finally build a probe that will allow you to go to other planets of the MechVerse and claim them for your clan.

The MechVerse will work online and available for Browsers in Desktop and Mobile devices.

MechVerse:Origin NFTs

MechVerse:Origin is our first game in development. This slow paced Base-Building game will have NFTs at its core. All the units, pieces and places will be owned by the players in the form of NFTs.

Commanders manage an outpost in an interplanetary universe called MV1. They are able to choose their own path at any time whether it is: crafting resources, creating experiences, gaming, or creating their own way to reap profits from the economies.

In a later iteration game (codenamed: Pioneers), players will control their Mechs (uploaded via Wallet and useable as in-game assets) on a hex game board inspired by Risk. The goal is to conquer the board before the opponent does. The game loop provides rewards in the forms of NFT and in the future MECH tokens. First and foremost, the experience will be fun and engaging to play for avid strategy game fans.

The blockchain enabled world will have for goal to provide financial freedom for the unbanked and those that want to play to earn, as well as supporting several NGOs with donations of money, NFTs or both.

Go to market strategy and the benefit for the Cardano Blockchain
We will aim to attract new Cardano Blockchain users from the outskirts of other blockchain projects and tech savvy curious minds. We will offer a free temporal access to new users that will allow them to play and interact without having to go thru the hurdles of moving money thru exchanges, transfer to wallets or learn about the lower level details of the blockchain.
For Cardano NFT enthusiasts, we will offer hi-quality unique NFTs that are inspired in our fictional universe. This will be created by our team of artists and in collaboration with other projects.

Closed Economy and Open Market
MechVerse:Origin will have a closed economy system (there will be a limited amount of resources but available enough for every player to succeed). Additionally, because every piece is player-owned, the open market will define the value of each piece.

Funds UsageThe received funds will help pay a new team being formed to work on a 4 month schedule to deliver an MPV of MechVerse:Origin. The team consists of: Director, Assistant Director, Senior Artist, Senior Developer, Middle Sound Designer, Middle Tech Artist, Junior Concept Artist, Junior Tech Artist.

After Launch Journey
After our game is completed, we will use our funds to create creative marketing campaigns, giveaways and trial periods to help attract new players. We will reach 3 markets: English, Spanish and French speaking countries.
After 3 months, we will have 80% completed the development of the game.
After 6 months, we will have our open Alpha and more than 1.000 players on the game
After 12 months, we will have our first released version and more than 10.000 players on the game.

IP

All Created assets and content will be owned by MechVerse team. All our smart contract and wallet integrations will be open source. And all our NFTs will be licensed to NFT holders.

With the support of the Catalyst fund, we will be able to deliver a high quality NFT based game and the first example of a new gaming category. We believe we have all the talent to make it happen.
