Cardano enabled sustainable food

We will create non-meat bones and use tokenomics to incentivize distributed culinary developers to build surrounding plant-based meat.

Market: Individuals who are interested in contributing to the development of sustainable plant-based meat products, both within and outside of the Cardano community. The end product will be for people who want plant based meat alternatives that better emulates animal meat. 

Product: Our product is a non-animal bone that will be distributed to an open source community of chefs and culinary hobbyists where techniques/recipes are shared and rewarded with a community token. 

Acquisition: The Fytoboros Cardano stake pool will partner with other Cardano stake pool operators that are mission driven, have a culture of contributing or exchanging skill-based resources to Cardano based projects, and have a line of communication to their delegators. We will also reach out to chefs and influencers worldwide that are interested in incorporating our non-animal bone with their plant-based meat recipes. The community token will be initially distributed to Cardano stake pools and culinary developers to incentivize contribution to the project.

Monopoly: As developers contribute to the project, they become contributor-consumers, trading recipes for more non-animal bones and community tokens. Circulation of community token amongst stake pools and the public will promote adoption of the final end products.

Money plan: $28,000 will be allocated to Fytoboros core developers

$5,000 will be allocated to the marketing campaign. This includes a community manager that will supervise communication to Cardano stake pools and their delegators, chefs, influencers, and other ambassadors that will advertise in their local community.

$7,000 will be allocated to material cost for non-animal bone development and distribution to contributors (Breakdown: $0.10 per set of chicken bones; $120 per contributor kit consisting of 50 batches of 24 bones per batch. $6,000 total for 50 unique contributor kits over a year; $1,000 total for $20 per international kit shipment). 

1-month milestone – complete selection of material(s). Currently, we have prototypes made (see supporting documents). Material (compression, tensile, and bending) and culinary properties (taste, texture, resistance to boiling and temperature degradation) will be tested. From these tests, the material(s) that pass acceptable material and culinary thresholds will be considered. KPI: Obtain at least 1 material that passes all testing thresholds; create non-animal bones for 3 different meat cuts (chicken wing, ribs, drumstick).

3-month milestone – Distribution of bones to contributors and compilation of recipes. 50 unique contributors will be selected and kits of the bones will be shipped to them. KPI: Obtain at least 1 unique recipe per contributor.

*Future Funding to be sought to deliver on all 6 month milestones.

6-month milestone – Community recipe reproducibility and validation. Recipes amongst contributors will be shared for purposes of testing reproducibility and quality of each recipe. Select recipes will also be recreated by the Fytoboros development team. Final selection of bone material(s) and recipes will be made with contributor input. Official products will be produced and sold within local markets of each contributor. KPI: Select 4 final community recipes for distribution.

12-month – Create mechanism for standard production and sale of end product. KPI: Sell >500 units. Start conversation with 5 major food distributors or grocery stores.

IP: Proper License to be implemented prior to shipment of bone kits to contributors.

Definition of Success: Completion of non-animal bone development with material(s) finalized. Building an initial community of 50 contributors developing recipes utilizing the bone. Successful testing of recipes with the selection of the top 4 voted by the community. Producing and distributing the top 4 recipes for sale in local markets with the initial goal of reaching over 500 units sold.
