Milkomeda consists of multiple novel un-audited concepts introduced to Cardano written in Rust including multiple open source components.
Audit all components of Milkomeda that are required for the Cardano deployment
This is the total amount allocated to Milkomeda ADA Audit.
Milkomeda is a protocol to give EVM capability to Cardano through a sidechain with ADA as the base asset. We will cover the auditing cost of any closed-source component of the project and any component not strictly related to Cardano. However, audits these days for crypto projects are extremely expensive -- especially for novel protocols and research and so Catalyst funding support for auditing will help a lot.
Milkomeda consists of multiple components that will be open-sourced & that will be re-usable by other projects such as our construct for leveraging Milkomeda for Cardano multisigs, our dApp rollback handler R&D project (both of which the core R&D cost were funded by Catalyst previously) and so this audit will not only benefit Milkomeda, but also all projects that re-use the tooling we build.
We plan to start the audit as soon as possible. We will release the final audit report to the community once we have addressed any issues found.
