GameChanger wallet focus on developing countries' users, but lacks i18n. We want to break that barrier to onboard, especially, LATAM users.
Integrate commonly used i18n and translations in spanish and portuguese for our main product, GameChanger Wallet.
This is the total amount allocated to GameChanger: Spanish and Portuguese.
We want to bring professional translation and ensure proper language is used on each section of the Wallet. All components, messages, texts and user interactions will be translated and use proper expressions. The internationalization settings will change based on user browser settings or user preference.
Extended relevant experience:
Cardano users can already benefit from having a highly humanized and gamified wallet, which is 100% committed to removing the entry barriers for students, entrepreneurs, junior developers and newcomers around the world. It's called GameChanger and our vision is to allow our users to focus on what matters rather than investing time and energy in infrastructure, language complexities and having higher level coding skills.

Extended problem statement:
GameChanger wallet founder team and part of the community is LATAM based and specially in some emerging countries, not having the wallet translated to Spanish or Portuguese can act as a entry barrier for new users. Despite having an advanced rich set of features, some users will not be able to benefit from the whole user experience until everything is properly translated and users can use our product with their native language.
Describe your solution to the problem:
Integrating i18n with the 2 main languages spoken in LATAM -Spanish and Portuguese- and providing full translation for all the user interfaces, components, user facing messages and in fact any visible text to the user.
Use cases and customers:
Translate all the GameChanger wallet interface and components and ensure any user in LATAM emerging countries can onboard and use the wallet with total ease and using their native language.
All this backlog has been constructed after obtaining user feedback on real life use cases. Some examples of real case scenarios would benefit from having translations:

Current Status:
The GameChanger Wallet, is already a product officially released (in english) in an early stage to the public with a big set of unique features unleashing the potential of Cardano and its underlying library: cardano-serialization-lib (Yoroi's library). It's also important to clarify that unlike other wallets in the ecosystem, GameChanger Wallet offers users the ability to combine several Cardano features at once into single transactions, for sustainable blockchain usage and reduced fees. The wallet builds these complex low level transactions, not the dapps. We take the hard work to allow dapp builders to focus on building faster and easier projects. Sometimes we have been referred to as an easier cardano-wallet-cli web alternative.
Key features/goals:
Ensure that any LATAM user can onboard and use our wallet with full ease and using their native language (Spanish or Portuguese), but we'll for sure extend this internationalization list in a longer term.
Roadmap:
The initial estimation is about 3 months. Depending on other proposals interrelated to this one, deliverables will be finished earlier.
Unless upcoming use cases lead us to prioritize something differently, we will address the backlog this way:
1st month: Setting up i18n our product that is expected to be under heavy development for the next months.
2nd month: Work together with translators for a first translation batch, integrate those changes and make couple more iterations to complete all the translation.
3rd month: Wrapping up and testing phase.
Key Performance Indicators for the first 3/6 months (KPIs):
After 3 months a Latam users growth will start to take place organically after this update get published, also increasing the current ongoing social media presence in spanish and starting for the first time to witness portuguese users and social media coverage.
After 6 months we expect to earn Latam users trust and hearts by demonstrating them that this wallet helps them to
understand the Cardano blockchain without loosing real value (testnet + get-started-airdrop+gamified UI)
reduce fees by combining many Cardano features into single transactions
free them from having to install mobile apps and browser extensions when is hard to do so in developing countries due to lack of proper infrastructure (low end or old smartphones with little storage for apps)
Budget:
1 Full-Stack developer ($2000 x 1 months = 2000$)
2 technical translators ($1500 x 1 month = 3000$)
Total: $5000 for a 3 months period.
