This project is to build AtalaPRISM as a layer1 in the real economy, and to develop DApps service as a layer2 in order to spread WEB3.0. One of the challenges is that there are few concrete use cases for blockchain in Japan, and even if a PoC has been conducted, there has been little progress in developing industrial applications. There are two issues that need to be addressed in the industrial use of blockchain. First, it is necessary to build a platform that can be shared by many stakeholders in order to provide benefits as a solution, and to form a consortium for this purpose. Secondly, a cross-border shared platform for global commercialization, and a consortium. After satisfying either of these requirements, we urgently need to establish a system to launch Atala, which has data tracing and ID assignment functions as the basic components of the solution. We are currently conducting comprehensive activities to achieve this goal, and have submitted two proposals related to this project, both of which have been accepted.

DID Solution for Localgavernments

Together with a member of the prefectural assembly, DID has made two presentations to the prefectural government on the introduction of blockchain. We are also investigating areas where we can make a case for blockchain in industry associations. Currently, we are proposing a data platform infrastructure using blockchain after visiting smart cities and the local government departments in charge of them. The organizing committee is currently examining the proposal, and if it becomes a positive consideration for implementation, we plan to progress to holding a study session and a hackathon in stages. Eventually, we hope to create use cases that will activate the data economy in smart cities. In another project, we are proposing to the head of state of a country a blockchain-based solution for proving the authenticity of local products and cross-border traceability. The project has the potential to become a national strategic project, and we will continue to do our best.

Atala Japanese Translation & CNFT

We are currently short of human resources and engineers who can take on the role of CTO to form a project team to build Atala solutions after a concrete project is launched. In order to solve this problem, we are preparing Japanese language education documents to train people who can join the team in Japan. This proposal aims to build an educational program (video content production, Q&A system with lecturers) based on the educational document being developed by Fund7, and to hold a hackathon including the participation of businesses.

Training Program

The engineers trained in this program will not only participate in projects in Japan, but will also be able to contribute to Cardano projects around the world. In order to attract engineers, we are working with our own team to receive engineers from the Cardano community, and we are also working with "devillage" to reach out to engineers outside the community. In fact, we have already started a workshop with Wallin from IOG, and 40 engineers have already participated.

Devillage is focusing on the development and success of blockchain engineers. Although there is a global shortage of blockchain engineers, there is no established education system or scheme to support their employment. We at devillage are not only training blockchain engineers, but also creating a job-matching platform that allows them to actually engage in development in a global development environment. In addition, by making the platform available in multiple languages, we will be able to smoothly expand our business globally. In order to build an educational program, we will train more developers through devillage's blockchain engineer training project, and to approach people in Japan and overseas, we will develop a job-matching platform, which will enable P2P job matching. Of course, it will also be possible to contract development by development teams. In this way, devillage can not only train developers, but also become a place to provide jobs for more developers.
