Blockchain businesses need ways to show their tech and explain it's applications. I've made a living uniting people through meals.
I am creating a model of how to move a small business into a brick-and-mortar space, by way of a Luminary Dinner Series in greater Boston!
This is the total amount allocated to B2B Dinner Series by MikeBettsCook0.
Boston. This is my office. I've been creating custom menus for clients since my early 20s. The caliber of business and professional clientele in this town can likely rival anywhere in the world. Luminaries eat dinner, too. I'm going to connect them. Small businesses need it. Blockchain companies need it. I'm a small business that needs it, too. My proposed B2B Dinner Series is just step 1.
Each one of the Dinner events is essentially a pop-up at a different venue. We will need to rely on our own networking for ideal meeting places. We will all be connecting but learning as we go. Each of the events is a step towards indeBAR, my goal and eventual brick-and-mortar, my baby and the eventual outcome which I see as the most ideal space for the networking and partnerships to flourish!
I see small businesses, influential individuals and Blockchain businesses meeting and truly connecting the old fashioned way, face to face and over a meal. As businesses and our world evolves, this will continue to have meaningful impact. At each event in this series, meaningful connections will create a much needed space for partnerships.
the only challenge i see is finding the right venues to host each of the events within the series.
This project begins by gathering key people to the industry and creating an ideal space to explain their business or blockchain products...perhaps even show them?!
Maybe this can be done on the phone or at a coffee shop, but I will be curating the space, the menu, the guests and even a view, a live guest or other talent to double down on the fact that we are all working towards something bigger along side each other. I also plan to have photography/video and media content at each event to utilize in the future to attract more eyes for upcoming events; aka snowball affect. We may employ live streaming, live music, or other means of creating depth and impact at each event.
This B2B Dinner Series will happen in different locations. Each event will perform as a pop-up event. With my team, I will curate the event as a cocktail party/network event. Small bites passed and placed so conversations are not interrupted. In my 20+ years of experience, I find that this format is more lively, less restricted and encourages unplanned conversations with far more people as if guests were to sit for the evening.
Upon approval, I would get right to work on creating guestlists, securing venues and lining up necessary staffing. Ideally the Dinner Series would be announced all at once, within a few weeks of approval. Timeframer for the series could begin as soon as this Spring, with a few weeks between each.
At this time, I plan to do 1 event in the Worcester area and 3 more in the Boston area. With my years of building a clientele in Boston proper and being in such a rich pool of tech, biotech, biomedical and education forward people, I feel this is an ideal location to find success!
Budget breakdown would consist of: Venue,
The total size of each event will dictate the size of the team needed per event. I will be calling upon
