How do we ensure our CAs have enough understanding about our mission at catalyst before assessing proposals?
Setting a standard will guide the CAs on their assessments and ensures proposers and the community that CAs have sufficient understanding.
This is the total amount allocated to CA Academy Certification.
CA academy will serve as a small/short BootCamp with all the information community advisors need to hold before getting their hands-on experience. A community advisor with the certification from the academy will conduct the assessment phase adequately, aligning with the goals we are trying to attain in project catalyst.
The CA Academy is going to be a simple web-based e-learning platform that consists of educational material for guiding individuals who want to serve Catalyst as community advisors. The education material will be community driving in a way that will involve experienced VCAs and Project Catalyst community members.
With the help of the learning platform, onboarding new Community Advisors will be easier as they are only required to go through a set of steps ensuring they have completed each content that is prepared by the community.
The challenge intends to improve the community advisor's journey as it will significantly differ with the output, which is quality assessment and scoring of proposals. With the help of the academy, we can achieve this goal as we will have a common ground on guidelines for assessing proposals which will lead to a better experience and quality assessment.
The possible challenge for this project raises on the content creation phase as we are aiming to include experienced community members. This could be challenging because we will be taking numerous insights and inputs from the community; having an organized output could be exacting.
The project will have two major phases:
2. Web-App development: this stage is where we develop the web-based platform. According to
the content type, the web-app development will take 3 months while most of the tasks will be
done with phase 1 simultaneously.
Most of the budget will be allocated to phase two of the project as it's the phase that needs a significant number of talent.
My team members are going required to complete this project are mostly technical as most of it will focus on developing the learning platform. But the other half has to be experienced Catalyst community members who have spent a sufficient amount of time as community members.
Therefore, most of the team members' profiles will be developers, designers, content creators, and consultants who have experience in building digital learning platforms.
The success of the project will mainly be measured according to the timeline set at the beginning. In addition to that, the key progress measurement that stands as KPI is the engaging content that will be created in collaboration with the contributors from the community.
This is an entirely new proposal.
