American USDC think tank

Form a group of individuals to think together, research together, and publish together about things to consider when designing a CBDC.

I live in Washington D.C. and go to conferences often. I am creating DAO infrastructure for the Cardano blockchain. I want to bring many capable perspectives together to help form a coherent voice from the Cardano/web3 community that helps to dictate the design of the US CBDC.

[IMPACT]

I will create a light remote think tank infrastructure for individuals that want to add perspective to this catalytic project being undertaken by the US government.

This framework would include a 10 week program.

• Each individual/group in this community will commit to creating a piece of content to community their ideas.
• biweekly check ins for each individual/group to share their progress
• biweekly group brainstorming session

The solution to this problem lies in creating a collaborative group of disparate, informed perspectives.

This light think tank framework will create thoughtful, powerful, and vital content that will be shared with the correct people in Washington D.C.

With the Executive order from the Biden Administration, it seems a CBDC is on the horizon.

The biggest risk is not finding the right people to join this think tank.

Will have intro meeting shortly after fund8 voting closes to set meeting times for the brainstorming and sharing sessions.

Payment for all think tank members to be able to travel and lodge in Washington D.C. for two days. We will likely attend a conference together.

I am looking to find people in the Catalyst community that would be open to being a part of this initiative with me.

We will provide biweekly community updates about what each think tank member is working on.

Creating content and sharing perspective to make sure the design of the American CBDC is a good thing for the world and vision of Cardano.

• This digital currency must be fair and transparent to everyone that uses it. 
• This digital currency must be the most accessible asset ever to exist. 
• This digital currency must push power to the edges and help to create a more fair world.
• This digital currency must be able to be used on any blockchain.
• This digital currency must have KYC included.
• This digital currency design must be able to be governed and amended over time
