Learning blockchain development is a lot of hard work, and many of the teaching resources are not fun. Causing people to give up or not try at all.
Almost everyone loves playing games, and when done correctly game mechanics can be used to make learning fun and competitive. Gamification of learning would help more people become DEVs.
This is the total amount allocated to Play2Learn2Earn ADA Makerspace Game.
We will create a fun to play real time strategy game where people can learn together and compete for prizes. The game will be similar to Settlers of Catan and Carcassonne. Players will be able to earn NFTs and tokens by learning about blockchain development.
Our Play2Learn2Earn will bring in many people who want to become a DEV or become a better one, it will also attract people who may not care as much about learning but just love playing the game and earning. :) but they will be learning the whole time!
The concept has been in development for a while and we are confidante that we can get it launched within 3 months of getting the funding. Risks are that it might take longer, but the game can be made for sure.

Web3 DEV for 3months: $30,000

Boone Bergsma (Web3 DEV)
Andrii Voloshyn (Marketing)
Will Hire another Web3 DEV
Maybe depends how profitable the game is on it own.
We will measure success buy how many signup to get Whitelisted, and purchase in game items. We will create a page on ADA Makerspace with live stats so anyone can see progress.
We would love to see hundreds of people playing because they want to learn blockchain development, and thousands people playing because they love the game.
This is continued innovation of the ADA Makerspace brand and learning platform.
Helps SDGs 4,5,8,9,10
I have been in the trenches trying to learn blockchain development for over 2 years and over the last couple years I have tried many different ways of learning and found things like https://cryptozombies.io/ to be the best at teaching how to design digital assets and DApps.
