This is the total amount allocated to Chelan, Washington MAV100 Community Ecosystem Proposal.
MAV100
Self Driven
We integrate decentralized education and web 3 businesses to teach students about the blockchain and how to use World Mobile and Iagon solutions. We use SPO rewards to fund learn to earn rewards.
We are partnered with Self Driven and we use their learning management system to track and organize our decentralized education system.
Our Catalyst Ecosystem Proposal is designed to be copied and used by other communities. We are actively supporting and recruiting other communities to use this template and to use the materials we are building. Our membership model and our templates and techniques are specifically designed to lower the barriers to entry and help communities join the Cardano Ecosystem.
Prop 13 Ecosystem Community Starter Template Summary
This Catalyst Proposal is meant to be a template used by anyone in the Cardano community to build a sustainable Cardano centric business in their community. We are going to prove this model in the city of Chelan, WA. We have started working with that school district to build a school ASB club and we are working with business leaders in the community to integrate business and education following the same template we are building in Leavenworth, WA.
The purpose of this template is to provide the framework for community members to promote adoption of cardano in their community and build sustainability into the cardano ecosystem. This template is a modest starting point and seeks to build a core group of students, parents, and business leaders to form the core community MBO. What you will notice about this template is that there is a lot of work and there is not very much money to do it with. If a community completes the milestones laid out in this template they will have demonstrated commitment requisite of the entrepreneurial spirit they will need to be successful with the Product Template.
When a community succeeds in getting a catalyst grant using this proposal then MAV100 will support their efforts to meet the following milestones:
On the list of milestones above there is a limited investment in hardware that is essentially fungible and can be used in other communities in the event of failure. The equipment and business services will be purchased using collateralized loans that are taken against the 90,000 Ada that is delegated to their stake pool as community members complete LMS courses and acquire customers. 10,000 Ada will be used to bootstrap the learn to earn programs.
In order to start a decentralized model using the Cardano Blockchain to organize decentralized businesses like World Mobile and Iagon Decentralized compute/storage services you need a core group of community members who can be more than just an employee. They will need to be invented in learning and become independent thinkers. They will need a team with a broad range of skills and determination in order to complete the milestones in this proposal. This proposal puts no sell pressure on Ada. This proposal is fully measurable on chain. This proposal is the beginning of a sustainable model of adoption for the Cardano Blockchain.
The Learning Management System we are building with Self Driven will keep track of how many new users we have added to the blockchain. We will document the physical hardware we host the Sake Pools and Midnight Nodes are loaded on. We will have connected World Mobile and Iagon to a new community. A legal entity will be formed and we will have customer lists.
Our learning management tracks learner progress on chain in a granular and transparent way. We will have started a core group in a community that have not only learned about the chain, but have also learned about several Cardano Projects and implemented them in a hands on and practical manner.
Additionally the community will have built and operated a local micro-lending system that will eventually replace local lending.
We have already implemented this solution in Leavenworth Washington. The second time will be easier. We already have a club founded and there is a strong group of kids, parents, and administrators that are ready to go. I have the hardware list and I am preparing rack space for the hardware now.
10 community members who have completed the first 6 Learn To Earn Modules in the self Driven App. These first 6 modules will start with creating their first wallet so they can participate in the learn to earn program. They will also learn about how their DAO works as a business entity and they will learn about how the other key aspects of this program integrate including World Mobile, Iagon, Blockchain, MBO's, collateralized lending and internet data services.
The community will have a dedicated data center hardware setup with enough compute, RAM and storage to run several core validators on the Cardano network including Block Producer SPOs, relays, World Mobile Earth Nodes, Iagon Storage/Compute and others. The cooperative will host an SPO and Midnight node at minimum. They will be able to host other nodes depending on their customers.
The cooperative will have 1 WM Air Node and have set it up on CBRS at least once and have it connected to the WM core. It will be able to move this air node around and test it in multiple locations to test service.
The Cooperative will have 1 Iagon storage/compute node set up and running.
The cooperative will have a collateralized lending stability pool set up and at least 10 people who understand the mechanisms of collateralized lending against Ada delegated to their stake pool verified by their completion of the learning management system module.
The Community Cooperative will have a completed functional legal entity with bylaws and integrated into the MAV100 Community Cooperative system. The Community cooperative will be ready to apply for a Catalyst Product Proposal following our template system.

24 cores, 128 MB RAM, 36 TB storage = ~$550. We need to buy a varying number and variations of this.
World Mobile Radios cost between 300$ and 8000$. The purpose of this hardware is to build familiarity and to gather network information.
Iagon nodes can be co-located with SPO nodes and other validators. In the future we will also look at buying dedicated cyclone machines.
It takes about 200 hours of work to get to a place where a school will work with you and let you teach kids classes. You can abbreviate that with money.
It also takes about 200 hours to get a decentralized business started in a community because of the relationships that need to be built. This can be partially offset by large amounts of money.
All of the Ada goes to 2 things:
Funds that are raised from the collateralized lending go to buying hardware that is primarily used to implement Cardano Business models and build World Mobile Networks and Iagon Decentralized Storage/Compute into communities.
These investments integrate the Cardano Blockchain into communities in a fundamental way not only starting and expanding the business but by promoting the transfer of skills and knowledge to new students. This is the
