[SOLUTION] Please describe your proposed solution
Intersect MBO emphasizes the need for “openly available online resources for ADA holders and the ecosystem to gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms and components of Cardano governance” as we progress in the age of Voltaire. You can read more about this here.
Our solution in line with this vision, is to create 30 interactive, gamified online quizzes designed to provide an in-depth understanding of both Cardano and its governance model. These quizzes will cover a thoughtfully curated range of topics, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience:
- Core Concepts of Cardano: Exploring the fundamentals of the blockchain, its Proof of Stake mechanism, and the Ouroboros protocol, which underpins the network’s security.
- Delegation, Staking, and Rewards: Offering insights into how delegation works, the mechanics of staking, and the rewards system, enabling participants to fully grasp Cardano’s decentralized incentives.
- Extended UTXO Model: Highlighting the benefits and unique aspects of Cardano’s transaction model, compared to traditional blockchain architectures.
- Cardano’s Governance Framework: Detailed coverage of the entire governance process, from proposal submission and voting to the evaluation of governance parameters that shape Cardano’s decentralized future.
- Key Governance CIPs and Proposals: In-depth exploration of governance-related CIPs, with a focus on transformative proposals like CIP-1694.
- Roles and Responsibilities of Governance Participants: Including DReps, with explanations of their duties and the impact of their decisions on Cardano’s ecosystem.
- Governance Action Lifecycle: Examining how governance decisions are enacted, their life cycle, and the processes that ensure transparency and accountability.
- DRep Code of Conduct: Outlining ethical responsibilities and real-world implications of governance decisions, ensuring participants understand the importance of principled decision-making.
By covering both Cardano basics and its governance, these quizzes will equip people to engage effectively in the ecosystem and shape Cardano’s decentralized future. Each quiz will have multimedia (text, images, audio, video) for an engaging learning experience. The quizzes are designed to be completed in around 30 minutes, offering a focused yet comprehensive learning experience without overwhelming participants. This duration allows users to engage deeply with the material while accommodating their attention span and time availability.
Key Features:
- Interactive Game-Like Interface: Will offer a dynamic experience with power-ups, hints, redemption questions, live leaderboards, and emoji reactions, keeping them engaged while learning.
- Answer Explanations: Gives additional context for answers during gameplay, enhancing their understanding. Links to external resources like articles and research papers will provide further learning opportunities.
- Difficulty Levels: Quizzes will be categorized into different levels (Explorer, Challenger, Master etc) allowing users start at their comfort level and progress as they build expertise.
- Multimedia Support: The quizzes will feature various content formats, including text, images, audio, and video, making the learning experience both immersive and informative.
The content will be sourced from reputable platforms such as CIP-1694 documentation, SanchoNet, Intersect Knowledge Base, IOG blogs and research papers, Cardano Foundation publications, Emurgo articles, blogs and insights from ecosystem projects and also community-driven knowledge from sources like Reddit and official forums.
The quizzes will be hosted on a public website for easy access and promoted through social media and Cardano channels. Our goal is to empower people with knowledge about Cardano and its governance through fun and interactive learning.
[IMPACT] Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
Our project will help educate people about Cardano and governance, empowering them to participate in the decision-making process. We will measure impact through quiz completion rates, user feedback, and community engagement on social channels.
[CAPABILITY & FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our team has been actively developing on Cardano for the past 3 years and comprises a diverse group of highly skilled Cardano engineers, senior software developers, and experienced project managers. We have successfully delivered Cardano projects, both for clients and the broader ecosystem. Our capabilities include:
- Cardano Integrations: We have experience in assisting clients with Cardano integrations, helping them build and deploy decentralized solutions on the blockchain.
- Open-Source Contributions: We have developed multiple open-source libraries to support the Cardano developer community.
Our public GitHub repository: https://github.com/lambdacc
- Catalyst track record: We have a proven track record with Catalyst-funded projects, including:
Fund-9: Completed — Open-source library for Plutus off-chain
Link to project repository: https://github.com/lambdacc/plutus-rest-wrapper
Fund-12: Ongoing — CIP-1694 and Cardano Governance workshop
The milestones we propose have an even distribution of funds throughout the project timeline. Starting with the first milestone, the outputs will be functional and verifiable. The project repository will be open source throughout the lifecycle of the project.

[BUDGET & COSTS] Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources
Content research and quiz design - 30 quizzes (25 hrs/quiz @ 20 ADA/hr): 15,000 ADA
Development of the quiz portal: 3,000 ADA
Web hosting: 2,000 ADA
Total budget: 20,000 ADA
[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?
Intersect has identified a genuine need for openly available educational resources to deepen understanding of Cardano governance. In line with this, we believe our project’s cost offers excellent value for the Cardano ecosystem for several reasons:
- Affordable Hourly Rate: Our competitive rate of 20 ADA/hr allows experienced Cardano engineers to deliver the project at minimal cost, significantly lower than local industry standards.
- Extensive Content Development: For 15,000 ADA, we will create 30 quizzes covering a wide range of governance topics, providing a comprehensive and cost-efficient educational resource for the community.
- Long-term Impact: The quizzes will be hosted on a public platform, making them accessible to all ADA holders and aspiring DReps for years to come, ensuring a lasting return on investment with ongoing educational benefits.
