Most of the tools and standards used in SSI are open source, with contributions from global organizations like Hyperledger, QuarkID, Privado ID, w3c, DIF, etc.

The event aims to promote the adoption and development of Decentralized Digital Identity (SSI) in LATAM by bringing together experts, regulators, businesses, and academics to discuss and collaborate on creating a secure, interoperable, and user-centric digital identity ecosystem. It will showcase real use cases, technological innovations, and how LATAM can position itself as a regional leader in SSI adoption.

This project is a booster for the Cardano community to understand what is happening globally with digital identity, as well as to encourage the development of projects and this type of technology on both Cardano and Midnight.
The capacity is high due to being an expert in this type of development and technology, having participated as one of the leaders of the largest decentralized digital identity project in LATAM, and also being involved in organizations related to this field in other countries, including the European Economic Community, which has the largest project worldwide. Additionally, there are global contacts with experts and companies in this field.”
