[SOLUTION] Please describe your proposed solution
We propose to create a user-friendly mobile app (iOS and Android) that enables users to participate in and create Cardano projects and DAOs with ease. Under the hood, the app functions as a non-custodial wallet, but to the user, it provides an intuitive interface to join and interact with different aspects of the Cardano ecosystem. The app aims to lower the barrier to entry, making onboarding into Web3 as seamless as joining any Web2 community.
Key functionalities include:
- Creation and Management of Agora DAOs: Utilize an open-source and audited library of Plutus scripts for on-chain treasury management for Cardano projects.
- Custom Community Off-Chain Governance: Create, manage, and participate in flexible off-chain governance actions that leverage Cardano native assets or community XP for voting power in polls, open polls for crowdsourcing ideas, and forums.
- Community Incentive and Reward Programs: Enable projects to create custom incentive programs to incentivize, align, and activate their user base. Users can also configure rewards for their community contributions.
Clarity has engaged with several large enterprises interested in adopting decentralized principles, including LIV Golf, StartEngine, All-In Podcast, and LA Galaxy. The common feedback is the necessity for an extremely simple onboarding process. While adding social logins could simplify the process, we believe that providing a seamless non-custodial wallet experience empowers users to fully leverage Web3 capabilities as they become more knowledgeable.
Decentralization is about fundamentally reshaping how communities collaborate and make decisions, not just forming a DAO. At Clarity, we aim to help communities move beyond traditional structures and embrace the next level of decentralization. A significant part of this vision is delivering a seamless user experience.
We have received feedback from multiple projects and partners emphasizing the need for a seamless onboarding process to encourage adoption. By collaborating with Vespr to integrate a non-custodial wallet into our app, we aim to lower the barriers to entry and provide a user experience comparable to Web2 applications.
[IMPACT] Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community
Our project's success will significantly enhance user adoption and engagement within the Cardano ecosystem by providing an accessible and user-friendly mobile application. By lowering the barrier to entry, we aim to onboard millions of new users, including those unfamiliar with blockchain technologies. This influx of users will:
- Expand the Ecosystem: More users mean more opportunities for projects and services within Cardano.
- Foster Innovation: Easier access encourages entrepreneurs to build new applications on Cardano and new users to join these new communities.
[CAPABILITY & FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
Our team has over three years of experience building community management and DAO infrastructure within the Cardano ecosystem. We have successfully delivered projects that required both technical expertise and strategic business development. Our capabilities include:
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in blockchain development, mobile app development, and smart contract implementation.
- Strategic Partnerships: Established relationships with key players like Vespr and various enterprises.
- Project Management: Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
We have validated the feasibility of this proposal with Vespr and both team are confident we can deliver on this proposal.
