About This Proposal's Solution

To attract indie creators, we must create a compelling fantasy universe and pioneer the first products of the Drunken Dragon Universe. One of which is our first comic series.

"The Dead Queen" is our first comic series introducing our universe.

The first volume is already out and acquirable on Amazon Kindle, and the second volume will be out by the time Catalyst's Fund 10 ends. We need your support to keep developing The Dead Queen's story into volume 3 and 4, and expand a fan base that will attract indie creators to pioneer a Decentralized Fantasy Franchise built with Cardano technology.

To attract a critical mass of Cardano users, we must develop products which bring intrinsic value to people and realize the benefits of blockchain technology.

In our case, we are developing a decentralized fantasy franchise. A type of "decentralized Disney" where any creator can freely use the IP, but the fans approve official products. With a decentralized marketplace to publish and purchase official products. An organically growing decentralized entertainment industry that anyone can access without permission and is regulated by smart contracts and algorithmic policy-making, where fans can safely invest their emotions knowing that there will always be new indie creators ready to expand the universe.

We have a track record of delivery through the last 2 years by being an active Cardano project that continues to deliver. We have already developed the following:

We have learnt much as a startup in the last 2 years, having solidified our development team, cofounders, and company processes and values. We deploy game versions almost daily.

Even without catalyst support, we will find the required funding to continue developing, as we are determined to transform the entertainment industry in ways that only blockchain technology can. And to contribute to constructing a more fair, accessible, decentralized world for all.

The main goal is to release volumes 3 and 4 of the already ongoing comic series.

Based on our experience working as a team this last year, the process we used for volume 1 and the refined process we currently use for volume 2 will ensure we finish volumes 3 and 4 in the four months after Fund 10 finishes.

The team is a full-time development team.

The team is currently paid well below the hourly rate from the consulting work they used to do. The Catalyst funding would complement the salary funded by the Drunken Dragon NFT sales and DND pool.

The current NFT sales and DND pool are financing the three months before any approval of the Catalyst proposals. They will continue to pay for servers, equipment, services and marketing expenses in the future. The requested funds from Catalyst are purely for personnel payment.
