Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) founded 1956, is the first and largest technical university in Vietnam. In 2022, nearly 800 students at HUST took part in the Scientific Research Competition, and nearly 300 scientific research projects submitted (hust.edu.vn). Hardware products have a mixture of both mechanical and other interdisciplinary fields such as automatic control, mechatronics, AI applications. Although students at HUST have good ideas to apply in real life, they are dealing with financial problems while conducting or developing scientific research after competition at school. To mitigate this problem, we intend to create a Cardano Scholarship for scientific research student at HUST to help them have a better support in research process.

Secondly, HUST students are famous for well-qualified in Science and Technology. However, they have limited access to blockchain technology, particularly Cardano ecosystem. By awarding Cardano scholarship, we will have more chance and friendly access to HUST community to covert these talented students to Cardano community. Especially, to consolidate students' Cardano ecosystem knowledge, we will invite experts in Vietnamese Cardano community to share insights about this ecosystem in each Cardano Scholarship Ceremony. As a result, more and more talented students access to Cardano ecosystem in an extremely positive attitude.

[IMPACT] How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

In Startups & Onboarding for Students challenge, Cardano community expects to student blockchain startups through Catalyst. Cardano Scholarship for scientific research student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology is a perfect program for this purpose. With excellent Science and Technology base, students at HUST can have more wonder blockchain startups if they are comprehensively equipped blockchain as well as Cardano ecosystem knowledge through experts.

[IMPACT] How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

We intend to measure the success of our project based on following metrics:

1. Number of Application Forms: Our goal is to receive a minimum of 100 application forms from students at HUS
2. Number of Students Participating in the Scholarship Award Ceremony: During the Scholarship Award Ceremony, we aim to invite Vietnamese experts to share insights about the Cardano ecosystem to attract at least 50 students at HUsT attending the ceremony.
3. 1000 Reactions on Facebook: Upon receiving the Cardano Scholarship, we expect that 10 students will share their experiences and thoughts about the Cardano ecosystem on their Facebook profile.

We evaluate our success based on two factors: the number of gifted students applying for this scholarship and the program's popularity in bringing the Cardano ecosystem closer to talented students in Vietnam. These indicators reflect our effectiveness in reaching and engaging with the target audience.

[IMPACT] Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

We plan to attract 100 gifted students at HUST and reach at least 1000 students in general. We set KPIs and plan to share them in the following ways:

• 100 application forms from students at Hanoi University of Science and Technology: We will provide a google form results for people to check.
• 10 best students chosen by 3 examiners who are lecturers in science and technology area, CEO of technology company: all the detailed evaluation and score of examiners will be reported through a google sheet.
• 50 students taking part in Scholarship Award Ceremony: We will provide the picture of ceremony including at least 50 students through a drive link
• 10/10 students share on facebook about Cardano Scholarship, bring 1000 reactions in total: We will provide 10 screen shoots of 10 posts with the number of reactions through a drive link

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Our capability to deliver our project with high levels of trust and accountability relies on following factors:

1. Solid Team: Our team consists of gifted students from prestigious universities in Vietnam. Our project manager used to get first prize in Scientific Research Competition organized by HUST
2. Expert Advisors: Our project benefits from strong connections with professors, doctors of technology, and CEOs of tech companies in Vietnam.
3. Documenting and Tracking Progress: By maintaining accurate monthly records of marketing activities, received application forms, judges' scores, Scholarship Award Ceremony details, and the proficiency of the Cardano Scholarship sharing campaign, we establish a transparent and accountable approach

These factors demonstrate our team's commitment to professionalism, transparency, and accountability throughout the project. By leveraging the expertise of my team members and advisors and maintaining a thorough documentation process, you enhance trust and provide a foundation for reliable decision-making and project success.

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

Our main goals are to support gifted students to have good condition to do research, educate at least 50 students about Cardano ecosystem, and integrate them into the Cardano ecosystem.

• To support gifted students to have good condition to do research by Cardano Scholarship, we invite three examiners, who are experienced lecturers in the science and technology field and a CEO of a technology company evaluate at least 100 applications to select 10 best students. Our team members are gifted students and leaders of some student organizations, we have strong connection with experienced lectures and CEO in technology area.

• To educate at least 50 students about Cardano ecosystem, we will organize a Scholarship Award Ceremony, and have a small talkshow in that ceremony. Our team has good experience in organizing events during years in University with hundreds or thousands of attendees. We are confident to host a ceremony successfully.

• Onboard more students into Cardano ecosystem: all of us are influencer at our university due to good academic achievement and leaders of extra-curricular activities. We believe to have capacity to market this program as well as Cardano ecosystem to students in Vietnam.
