The project will be completely open source.
[SOLUTION] Please describe your proposed solution.
Looking at the problem:
- Information and knowledge about Cardano, Catalyst or programming languages such as Aiken, Plutus, Marlowe, ... and integrations are scattered on the internet. The difficult thing for Vietnamese people is that the above documents are mainly published. write in English.
- There are many scams related to cryptocurrencies that lose the trust of participants, thereby causing people to have a bad view of cryptocurrencies, and more dangerously, most people are confused between Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology. Therefore, we need to have periodic activities with specific content to increase trust and create solid connections in the community.
Solution:
- To solve the above problems, we decided to create meetings with students and the Cardano community and will hold them in cafes inside and outside the campuses of technical universities. art. We realized we needed to provide them with a friendlier environment. These meetings give people in the community and students more opportunities to interact and learn more about Cardano and Catalyst. So with this project, we will expand the model to universities. We will host at the university library cafe or cafe on or near the university, with the aim of reaching more students and faculty.
- At Catalyst F8, we were funded and completed 40 discussions and discussions about Blockchain in 2 big cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. There are also other impactful results such as the creation of a large Cardano Vietnamese community: Many people, many proposals have been submitted to Catalyst and funded.
Reason for access:
- Prioritize education: We realize that Blockchain human resources on the Cardano platform are limited in Vietnam. We hope these meetings will contribute to training more Blockchain developers for Cardano, paving the way for the Operation Resilience and Adoption campaigns.
- Spreading the influence of Cardano: Our meetups and seminars will help spread the influence of Cardano technology, helping to partly increase the number of ecosystem participants and developers. ecosystem, contributing a small part to the sustainable development of the Cardano ecosystem.
Who will the project attract?
- For this project, meetings and seminars about Cardano will attract people, especially students, who may be Cardano developers in the near future. At meetings or seminars at cafes, everyone will get free drinks and listen to speakers with many years of experience in Cardano speak, helping to improve everyone's knowledge about Blockchain, Cardano and Catalyst.
Benefits for Cardano
- With meetings and seminars about Cardano, this project will bring a large number of people to use this technology, contributing to spreading the influence of Cardano to the community, possibly a number of students. members of leading technical schools in Vietnam.
[IMPACT] Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community.
We propose to solve the problems presented by the challenge in the following ways:
From previous funding rounds, we have built a technical documentation center (http://cardano2vn.io/; https://www.youtube.com/cardano2vn). There is a lot of information that is being shared with many Vietnamese people. In addition, in the past, there have been many sources of documents from the international community such as Mesh, Blockfrost, and Demeter... These resources make it easier for anyone to develop applications using Cardano.
"How do we attract developers from outside of our current community to participate in Catalyst?"
In this proposal, we host a weekly workshop with many lecturers and students of technical universities at the Coffee shop, to lower the entry barrier for developers and increase the number of active developers. Thereby increasing the number of open-source projects.
During these seminars, we provide information to the community. The result will be increased awareness of Cardano among attendees, especially IT students at each meeting, encouraging them to participate in a variety of roles within Catalyst (proposer, CR: L0, L1, L2, and Voter). So that Cardano adoption will be higher. Plus also give them technical information such as Haskell & Plutus programming languages and integrations. Thus, they can build applications and dApps on the Cardano Blockchain platform.
[CAPABILITY & FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?
We are a young, dynamic startup eager to learn. Currently we are still students at the university.
We are currently all young, dynamic developers with many personal skills and experience in programming. Most of our team are experienced developers.
Our team includes developers including 1 project manager, 1 person who is a full stack developer, 1 person who is both a full stack developer and Blockchain developer, and one person who is a blockchain developer. The 2 Blockchain developers in the group both use Aiken language to write Smart contracts.
