Empower Asian youth with blockchain knowledge. Bridge the gap in understanding and utilization through experiential challenges, fostering a decentralized future.
This is the total amount allocated to From Ada to Asia.
Elevate Asian youth with blockchain via online challenges, bite-sized videos. Cultivate Cardano community, fueling awareness.

Our decision to maintain a non-open source approach is rooted in two key considerations. Firstly, we prioritise safeguarding our intellectual property, as our proposed solution incorporates proprietary algorithms developed through significant research and development investments. Lastly, to ensure the highest quality and consistency of our solution, a closed-source approach allows us to maintain control over the codebase, mitigating potential challenges associated with collaborative development. This strategic decision aims to preserve innovation, support our business objectives, and guarantee the excellence of the project's outcomes.
Our proposed solution is an evolution rooted in the triumph of our inaugural community-building program, a successful collaboration with Cardano in Africa. This first edition laid a robust foundation, focusing on educating African youth about the fundamental principles of blockchain. Buoyed by the success and valuable insights gained from this African initiative, we are now poised to introduce an innovative online program in Asia. This program features three experiential challenges designed to address the pervasive lack of blockchain literacy among Asian youth.
The pilot phase of our initiative in Africa has proven to be a crucial learning experience. It has empowered us to envisage a scalable project with additional components, tailored to not only nurture Cardano's community growth in Asia but also propel youth ideas that leverage blockchain solutions into the forefront. The lessons learned from our African program act as guiding beacons for the nuanced and culturally relevant approach we aim to take in Asia. Our strategy centers around the launch of the first-stage pilot, mirroring our successful African model, with a keen focus on educating youth about the basics of blockchain.
At the heart of our program lies a series of easily digestible bite-sized videos meticulously crafted to demystify the intricacies of blockchain technology. This multimedia content is not only designed for accessibility but also to foster engagement among our target audience—the vibrant and eager-to-learn youth in Asia. The challenges presented in the program go beyond the theoretical realm; they aim to encourage practical application, fostering a generation that not only understands blockchain concepts but can creatively apply them in real-world scenarios.
The impact of our initiative will be measured not just by the participants' theoretical knowledge but by their ability to practically apply blockchain principles. We will assess the quality, innovation, and resourcefulness of their entries, providing an objective metric for the success of our program. What sets our solution apart is its dual purpose: while equipping individuals with valuable blockchain skills, it concurrently builds a Cardano-centric community in Asia.
This community, driven by informed and passionate youth, holds immense potential to significantly contribute to Cardano's global mission of ushering in a decentralized and inclusive future. By harnessing the power of blockchain education and fostering creativity, our initiative in Asia seeks to create a ripple effect. It is not merely an educational endeavour but a strategic investment in cultivating a community that will play a pivotal role in Cardano's sustained growth and influence within the dynamic landscape of blockchain technology.
The project's success will significantly benefit the Cardano community by expanding its reach and influence in Asia. The measurable impact will be gauged through several key indicators:
Youth Reached: 1,000,000
Youth Engagement: 30,000
Youth Participation: 150
We will measure the success of our project with the below KPIs that will benefit the Cardano ecosystem by organically building trust with youth globally and raising awareness on the uses and applications of the Cardano blockchain, positively influencing youth participation in the ecosystem notably in the global south:
During the course of the program, user surveys will be conducted in order to assess the impact of the program. These surveys are aimed at assessing the appreciation of the young participants of the Art Beyond Borders challenge in terms of challenge dynamics, rewards, and topics and asking questions regarding the potential impact in terms of upskilling. Goodwall has developed strong expertise in implementing programs globally and in specific regions, monitoring the implementation of programs through specific internal tools, notably:
A Program Performance Dashboard, which allows live monitoring of the performance of programs through specific metrics (e.g. impressions, user engagement, reach, qualified entries, etc.). A link will be made available to the Cardano community to access this information at any time.
To share our outputs and opportunities:
By fostering blockchain literacy and community growth, our project aims to create lasting value for the Cardano community. The transparent sharing of project outcomes will not only inspire further initiatives but also reinforce Cardano's commitment to global education and inclusivity.
Goodwall is an award-winning social enterprise recognized as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer. Goodwall's founders were listed as Forbes 30 under 30.
Goodwall has delivered on more than 200+ programs to date, trusted by organizations such as UNICEF and the UNDP, governments, and Fortune 1000 companies like SAP and Accenture.
Recently Goodwall hosted a very successful Art Competition "Imagine2050" sponsored by Pictet, the private bank, that was exhibited in collaboration with the Tate Gallery at the London Zoo.
Goodwall has already secured a partnership with NMKR and received their technical green light to mint the art and jointly create a white-labelled Good Art Store to exhibit and auction the NFTs using NMKRs API.
Goodwall has been part of the Cardano ecosystem for years, successfully delivering on multiple Catalyst projects in Fund 8 and 9. Goodwall's CEO, Taha Bawa, spoke at the Cardano Summit in 2022.
