1 . Understanding the problem

Indonesia has 278 million people and not many understand Blockchain, let alone Cardano. 1% of it will make almost 3 million people, more than double the number of active accounts in Cardano in November 2023. There are 25.8% Millenials and 27.9% Generation-Z of the big number, with a substantial Total GDP of $1.319 trillion, positioning Indonesia as a key player in the Southeast Asian economic landscape.

• Only very small portion of 64 million of Indonesian MSME heard about Cardano ecosystem .
• Gen-Z is technology-active and most of them speak English
• Cardano Ecosystem is seen only for high IT background- person.
• Many universities have started to adopt blockchain in their curriculum, however the interest of adopting Cardano/crypto is only for trading.

2 . Subjects aimed

• IDE-BC (Indonesian Digital Entrepreneur-Blockchain Cardano) will invite all University Students and Entrepreneurs to discuss about Cardano ecosystem. The team will share knowledge, articles, videos, and updated documents and answer questions related to Cardano. Direct presentations, discussions, and chats will also be held to create interaction and interesting knowledge.
• IDE-BC will create a strong network of resources, and promote the growth and sustainable development of the Cardano community, and Cardano traders among Millennials and Gen-Z of Indonesia. The goal is to share knowledge and awareness of Cardano and its ecosystem, therefore broadening the interest of Millennials, Gen-Z, and Entrepreneurs in Cardano in their businesses.

3 . Solutions

• The IDE-BC functions as a collective dedicated to disseminating information and engaging in discussions about the Cardano ecosystem, along with exploring the potential for Cardano's integration into various businesses or personal interests.
• The proposed solution holds significant importance as it provides a broad opportunity for Millennials, Gen-Z, and Entrepreneurs to comprehend the Cardano ecosystem concept and discover its potential applications for their endeavors.
• Implementing a reward mechanism becomes crucial to incentivize the audience to delve deeper into Cardano, ensuring that participants acquire extensive and valuable knowledge about the Cardano platform.
• Both onsite and online talk shows will be conducted, targeting universities and SME communities. Each talk show is anticipated to last around 3 hours, comprising 2 hours of informative content and a subsequent hour dedicated to discussions and Q&A sessions. All sessions will be recorded and shared on Instagram and the IDE YouTube channel. The online talk show format is designed to reach individuals residing outside the Greater Jakarta area (national wide reach, rather than capital city only).

• IDE aims to directly engage Millennials, Gen-Z, and Entrepreneurs, facilitating discussions on how the challenges specific to these groups can be addressed through the Cardano ecosystem. By effectively resolving their issues with Cardano, the platform's adoption is poised to proliferate within their respective communities.
• The target audience of Millennials, Gen-Z, and Entrepreneurs will be provided with opportunities to actively participate in discussions about Cardano.
• Participants expressing interest in Cardano will be eligible for rewards in the form of Cardano ADA coins. (This, in effect, will also drive the adoption of ADA and the conversion to Cardano Wallet users.)
• Cardano share sessions will disseminate current information and showcase opportunities for the target audience, emphasizing the potential benefits of integrating the Cardano ecosystem into their business operations.

• IDE sharing sessions effectively address the prevalent issue of low awareness and understanding of Cardano among Millennials, Gen-Z, and Entrepreneurs in Indonesia. • The outcomes of this project are poised to contribute positively to the growth and development of the Cardano ecosystem:
• Initially, the focus is on drawing in Millennials, Gen-Z, and Entrepreneurs, introducing them to the Cardano ecosystem. This engagement is fostered through social media comments where individuals can share their insights and experiences.
• Second, individuals utilizing ADA in their trading activities will benefit from up-to-date information on Cardano's performance. This regular update contributes to enhancing their confidence and trust in Cardano ADA.
• Third, IDE-BC sharing sessions aim to cultivate a generation of individuals and entrepreneurs with a strong understanding of Cardano, fostering high levels of Cardano literacy among this demographic.
• The success of this initiative will be gauged by the increasing number of participants in each sharing session. As the participant count grows, it fosters a culture of knowledge exchange among the audience, leading to mutual enhancement. This impact is further amplified as participants are encouraged to share their experiences and gain knowledge on social media, earning additional rewards.
• Over 6 months (a reasonable timeframe for the project) we aim to reach 500 attendees and readers through a combination of onsite talk shows, online sessions, and knowledge-sharing on social media. This active participation and interaction are expected to generate significant value for the Cardano ecosystem, fostering its development and positioning Cardano as a leading blockchain platform among Indonesian Millennials, Gen-Z, and Entrepreneurs.
• The decision to submit this proposal to the challenge Catalyst Open - Ecosystem is based on its mismatch with the criteria of other challenges in Fund 11. The project envisions a continuation into Fund 12 with the objective of recruiting Cardano Brand Ambassadors for five major cities in Indonesia.

• Marketing a shared talk on forums and social foundations such as Instagram, and Facebook.
• Making proposals to have access to sharing sessions with targeted Universities and Entrepreneurs (for Phase 2)
• Preliminary meeting with 7 Universities and 7 Entrepreneurs communities leaders, and speakers for 7 Podcast sessions 
• Host 7 YouTube podcast sessions

Phase 2a: From May 1 – June 15, 2024

• Organize 7 University events, targeting 50 people in each sharing session. 
• Producing 7 videos and publishing them on social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Phase 2b: From June 16 – July 31, 2024

• Organize 7 Community events, targeting 50 people in each sharing session. 
• Producing 7 videos and publishing them on social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

• 1 WhatsApp/Telegram group with about a thousand users, talking about Blockchain and Cardano
• 6 months of education, talks, and hype-building of Blockchain and Cardano
• 21 Youtube content (podcasts, events recordings) of 2-3 hours, professionally edited
• 63 new users/wallets (21 events x 3 rewards, at the very least) with ADA ready to use
• 180 Instagram contents (6 months x 30 daily contents) on Blockchain and Cardano, professionally managed
