Using the Totem housing we already created. But integrate Innovativ NV-9 bill acceptor and a Hyperpixel 4 and PI Zero 2.

The housing will be available for any wallet builder in the Cardano ecosystem.

Cardano uses less energy than comparable financial systems and can thus be more environmentally sustainable (13). Allow changing of fiat notes to ADA or other tokens.

Shops will be able to add services and introduce people to Cardano in a retail environment. Lowering the barrier to adoption.

Maarten Menheere. He is a design engineer with a masters degree Industrial design at Technical University in Delft. Founder and for 10 years owner of M2tec design and engineering. Has 15 years experience in project management and engineering of payment systems.

M2tec was one of the first to deliver in Fund 5. Completing all set goals of the project within the set delivery schedule. Fund 7 Totem project was also delivered within a reasonable schedule.

[Project Milestones] What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

Modify totem housing to integrate note acceptor. This is done using 3d CAD software.

Completion can be validated when metal parts are received. Together with the hardware components operation can be validated. Depending on results a second iteration can be necessary.

Integrate note acceptor into the raspberry-pi hardware platform.

Completion can be validated when the note acceptror listens to commands sent from a software library. And note acceptance can be confirmed.

Concept is ready for evaluation by the Gamechanger team.

[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

Having hardware devices will be a huge necessity when Cardano breaks through in the mainstream. To help this situation and build from grass roots. It is important to start building now. Via Gamechanger we have strong contacts in Argentina. Where recently a crypto friendly president was elected. So large markets can open up in an instant. Size of Argentina retail market is about 48 Bilion $. The Cardano ecosystem needs to be ready for this situation.

Average hourly wage in the Netherlands is 273 ADA (104 Euro) per hour
