Create an app that allows wedding guests to share and create a collection of digital memories for the newlyweds that will become immutable with the creation of commemorative NFTs of the event.

The project will not be open-source because this MVP will be only the first stage of a commercial product that will be offered later to other actors in the wedding industry.

In today's world, where the recording of the most disparate moments is entrusted to digital media, the risk that important memories are lost (either because they are physically deleted or because they are submerged by the sea of visual information in everyone is immersed) is a frequent occurrence: this applies in particular to photos and videos produced during weddings by guests, contents that most of the time, with the exception of some social publications of the moment, remain stuck on their devices and then quickly end up forgotten.

The project therefore aims to provide an identity to these contents by allowing them to be uploaded to the platform and collecting what is sent by the guests in an ad hoc space created for the event.

This is an example of using the web-app:

• The event organizer accesses the platform and creates an event including some basic information, and automatically obtains QRs that will be placed in the ceremony location.
• In various places and at different times of the day, guests at the ceremony will find the QR codes which allow them to upload multimedia content (photos, videos or voice recordings).

This content is then saved to the backend and archived.

• When sending content, users will be able to enter a Cardano wallet address or create one in a guided manner: this information will allow them to receive NFTs commemorating the event.
• The guests therefore receive NFTs of two different types:
• Series I is automatically generated by the backend and does not contain digital media: it will have a simple image associated with the specific data of the event (name of the spouses, date, location)
• Series II is instead generated at the end of the event, using a selection made by the spouses of the digital contents collected, which will be attached to the NFTs distributed. This will contain the key moments of the event.

The web-app will include:

• Customized design created by a creative agency
• Implementation of the app following the design that will include 8 main features:
• Authentication for organizers
• Event Management (Creation / Access / Modification)
• Automatic QR code generation
• Page for uploading content
• Page for guided creation of a wallet
• Content gallery view
• Generating and sending Series I NFTs
• Content Selection and Generation and Sending of NFT Series II

One of the advantages achieved through the use of the web-app is to have a space that groups together all the contents and which provides, in addition to the tools to produce a certain degree of optimization and retouching, a reasoned and orderly gallery of the ceremony, with contents that can be divided by moment and type and which can be used for the creation of reels.

Possible future developments of the project may include:

• An automatic tagging system using AI classifiers to generate trends and specific photo collections (e.g. “The bride's entrance”, “The kiss”, etc.)
• A tool that automatically generates social montages and reels through the use of AI.

This functionality can prove extremely useful for photographers and operators in the sector, because they will be able to integrate their work with the material collected and to provide an extra product to the bride and groom.

The wedding industry, particularly in the realm of video and photo production, is experiencing unprecedented growth and innovation. As couples seek to immortalize their special moments with cinematic flair, the demand for high-quality wedding videography and photography has surged. The advent of social media has amplified this trend, with couples eager to showcase their love stories through visually stunning content.

In this era of personal branding and digital storytelling, the wedding industry's video and photo production segment stands poised for continued growth, driven by the universal desire to encapsulate the magic of love in timeless, visually compelling narratives.

This project aims to capture the expansion of the wedding market by introducing in the sector the perfect medium to make memories immutable: the blockchain.

The development of this project will establish a connection with individuals currently outside the cryptocurrency space, by introducing them to the Cardano ecosystem through tangible real-world applications.

The potential impact is very high, as numerous individuals will own, probably for the first time, a Cardano wallet with NFTs. In doing so, they become integral participants in the ecosystem and potential supporters for various crypto projects in the cryptocurrency space.

Furthermore, satisfied users can organically support NFTs and Cardano technology by sharing their experiences, thus broadening awareness. At the very least, they will gain a greater understanding of Cardano and blockchain principles, in general.

On top of this, the project structure can be replicated in different contexts such as children's birthday parties, private events, concerts and more. Having a working product that implements such a mechanism can bring significant benefits to the overall ecosystem, demonstrating substantial expandability once a proof of concept is validated.

Project success can be measured by:

The final result will be a web application ready for publication on a dedicated website. A promotional video will be created to explain the operational complexities of the application to a wider audience.

[CAPABILITY & FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

The team already has extensive experience in the creation of apps, websites, as well as the experience with the creation of Cardano dApps.

A study about the technical feasibility of the project was already performed and the technology stack is already identified:

• Vue.js (https://vuejs.org/) for the main App
• Supabase (https://supabase.com/) as a backend for the user authentication, data and file storage
• Blockfrost API (https://blockfrost.io/) for the interaction with the chain data (query wallets info, generation of transaction to mint and send the NFTs)
• A python backend to mint NFTs

The app will be browser based, leveraging the file API for the selection and the upload of photo and video.

The authentication system for the creation and the management of the events will be handled through the features exposed in Supabase, that will be also used as database and as file storage.

We opted for a web-app in place of native apps (Android, iOS) to simplify the UX for every wedding guest: they will be able to quickly interact with it without the need of additional installations.

Luca is an audiovisual professional with 15+ experience in development and production of documentary and fiction content.

His experience includes cinema and television, having worked for several years on set in various roles (camera operator, director of photography, direction, focus puller), thanks to his good problem solving skills in the field.

He collaborates with services and organizations such as Rai Cinema as a filmmaker, curating content for them, even for important events such as the Venice Film Festival.

He worked for several major brands like Ferrari, Maserati, Condenaste, Confindustria and others.

He takes care of communication projects and produces documentary films linked to the territory, in synergy with tourist and cultural promotion activities.

His work as wedding videomaker and his connection with wedding photographers on the territory will be essential to test the project in real events.

Vlad - is a Full stack developer, with 5+ years experience mainly focused in web and hybrid app development.

Languages and frameworks: PHP, Javascript, Typescript, Python, Laravel, Wordpress, Angular.js, Vue.js, Node.js, React.

[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The cost for the project represents a very good value for Cardano because it could potentially expose the technology to the wedding industry and to all the people that participate in wedding events.

Specifically, this project will expose the blockchain technology, and the Cardano technology, to average people who have probably never heard of it by giving them a chance to put their hands on a practical use of it. This means attracting in a very direct way brand new users to the Cardano ecosystem.

In addition to that, the extreme diffusion and frequency of weddings around the world, creates a huge opportunity for replicability that combined with involvement of new users, can create a large base of new users.

The main costs are intended for software development, and the average hourly cost indicated is in line with the Italian averages in the sector. The estimate of 40 men/day (8 hours a day) is sufficient for the complete development of the app.

The cost of the creative agency for branding and design is already agreed and in line with national market prices.
