Difficulty in accessing clear, comparative data on decentralization, safety, and audits within the Cardano ecosystem.
This is the total amount allocated to Decentralization & Safety Hub: Make Safety and Decentralization Data Easily Acessible.
Vacuumlabs developers, Vacuumlabs auditors
Create an accessible, in-depth website to analyze and compare Cardano's protocols, focusing on decentralization, safety, and audits.
No dependencies.
All the outputs, including the design document and the proofs of concept will be open sourced on Github with GPL-3.0 license.
Our concern is the difficulty in accessing clear, reliable information regarding the safety and degree of decentralization of projects within the Cardano ecosystem.
Our solution is to develop a specialized website for the Cardano ecosystem, akin to L2BEAT but tailored to Cardano's unique architecture and community needs. This platform will serve as a central hub for information and comparative analysis of various protocols and sidechains within the Cardano network. We aim to simplify complex technical data into easy-to-understand metrics, enabling users, developers, and investors to make informed decisions. We have an extensive experience in both developing and auditing Cardano protocols, and we intend to use it to provide accurate and reliable information.
The site will feature up-to-date, detailed reviews and ratings on decentralization, safety, and audit histories of different protocols, making this crucial information accessible to all. By engaging with a broad spectrum of the Cardano community, including developers, auditors, and end-users, we will ensure our analyses remain relevant and valuable. Our unique approach lies in translating technical jargon into layman's terms, fostering greater understanding and trust in the Cardano ecosystem.
This project will significantly enhance transparency and trust within the Cardano community. By providing clear, comprehensible insights into the decentralization, safety, and audit histories of various protocols, we empower users to make informed decisions.
We plan to measure our impact through user engagement metrics, feedback from the community, and the adoption rate of our platform. Success will be reflected in increased user confidence and informed participation in the Cardano ecosystem. We intend to share our findings and updates through regular community engagement initiatives, such as webinars, forums, and social media platforms, ensuring that the benefits of our project are widely accessible.
Regular Users and Investors: Our platform will offer these individuals clear, concise, and easily understandable information about the safety and reliability of various Cardano protocols and sidechains. This will aid them in making more informed investment and participation decisions.
Developers and Innovators: By providing detailed analyses and comparisons of different protocols, we empower developers with the knowledge to improve their own projects and innovate within the Cardano ecosystem.
Auditors and Security Experts: The platform will serve as a resource for auditors to access comprehensive data on the Cardano network's protocols, aiding them in conducting thorough and efficient audits.
Cardano Governance Bodies: Our project will support these entities by providing insights into the ecosystem's health, aiding in policy making and strategic decisions to enhance the overall robustness of Cardano.
As seasoned developers and auditors of smart contracts on Cardano, we possess extensive experience with audits and design reviews conducted in Plutus, Plutarch, and Aiken languages. We have already identified various vulnerabilities, viewable at https://github.com/vacuumlabs/audits. Additionally, we are launching a series of blogs on common Cardano vulnerabilities, accessible at https://medium.com/@vacuumlabs_auditing.
Drawing from our expertise and experience, we are confident in our ability to create a website full of relevant and well-understood information.
Research and Data Collection - Completing comprehensive research on Cardano's protocols and sidechains.
Website Development - Launching a beta version of the website with basic functionality (will be happening in parallel with Milestone 1).
Content Creation and Testing - Populating the website with initial content and conducting user experience tests.
Full Launch and Marketing - Officially launching the website and initiating marketing campaigns.
