Wellness Station (booth) aims:

• to offer a retreat within amidst the hustle and bustle of summits
• to promote and increase the visibility of Catalyst Projects during these summits

I will establish a booth in 3 blockchain events in Istanbul:

• Blockchain Economy Istanbul Summit (29-30 May 2024).

3,000+ attendees from 80+ countries.

• Blockchain Expo World 2024 (4-7 July 2024)

ORGANIZED UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF TOBB (THE ASSOCIATION OF CHAMBERS AND COMMODITY EXCHANGES OF TURKEY)

• Istanbul Blockchain Week (13-14 August 2024)

Should any of the primary events not proceed as planned, we reserve the right to substitute it with an equivalent blockchain event in Istanbul or another major European city.

Execution Strategy:

• Determine and organize the necessary components for the station.
• Coordinate with professionals such as breathwork masters, yoga instructors, and wellness coaches.
• Engage with Cardano ambassadors attending the events to explore potential collaborations that could benefit both the Catalyst Project and Cardano.
• Connect with Cardano communities and projects in the wellness space and promote them in the booth. eg: Discord join QRs, app download QRs, prepare designs for promos with those teams
• Promote Project Catalyst as the source Cardano community growth, with a special focus on all the wellness and community projects it has funded to date to highlight Cardano as the wellness chain.

The project's potential was validated with the acceptance by the Global Entrepreneurship Network Turkey for their Open House Meeting last August.

I'm Ada Raimova, wellness coordinator and the founder of the Adawell. I received funding from Catalyst during Fund 9 and delivered the MVP, established a knowledge base, build a community and a team. I'm passionate about holistic wellness, health optimization, the web3 and blockchain technologies. I firmly believe that wellness should not be a luxury, but rather a fundamental necessity accessible to all individuals. I am dedicated to creating an inclusive space where wellness becomes attainable and achievable for everyone. My dream is to build the first web3 wellness DAO with a great community benefiting a large population. I possess extensive knowledge and a well-established network within the wellness ecosystem and Decentralized Science communities. My areas of expertise and interests encompass Science Communication, Blockchain, Wellness in web3, the Creator Economy, and longevity. Adawell, the first Wellness DAO on Cardano was funded in Catalyst Project at Fund 9 for a very small amount to build a wellness knowledge base, a community, and a team. In this time we have:

• hosted 20+ mindfulness events, including meditation and yoga sessions. We offered sessions for communities such as littlefish, Cardano ATH, Metagame
• gathered 15+ engaged members actively improving their wellness and offering their wellness services, 95+ community members
• ran 5+ unique events and workshops, along with live music sessions
• created 10+ wellness toolkits available for the community's benefit

Milestone 1: Research and Planning (February-March)

• Conduct thorough research and plan for blockchain events.
• Remain flexible to switch event types for optimal promotion of Catalyst Projects and testing of the WellStation concept.
• Research and contact Cardano wellness projects and communities with positive wellness impacts to promote
• Plan what wellness events we could run: NSDR, yoga, meditation, breathwork, light exercise, chair yoga, ...

Milestone 2: Booth Design (April-May)

• Develop and finalize the design of the Wellness Station booth
• Begin designs of the promotional pieces within the booth
• Work with other projects to make the promotional content
• Contact professionals and schedule for the events
• Decide what the contents of the booth will be: eg. number of meditation mats, decor, ...

Outputs

• Finalized booth design that is both visually appealing and functional, tailored to engage attendees effectively.
• Finalized promotional materials crafted and aligned with the wellness and Cardano themes.
• A comprehensive schedule with committed professionals and a detailed inventory of necessary booth materials, like meditation mats and decor.

Milestone 3: Event Execution (May-August)

• Carry out the setup and management of the Wellness Station at selected events.
• Coordinate wellness professionals to come to the event
• Carry out the activities in the booths
• Promote Cardano projects in the booth
• Compile a detailed report for Cardano, encompassing key learnings and strategies for independently hosting future Wellness Stations, based on the tested and verified concept.

Outputs:

• Setup and running of the Wellness Station booths at the 3 chosen events.
• Execution of planned wellness activities (e.g., NSDR, yoga, meditation) in the booths.

[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

Admin budget: The 500 USD is slightly more than minimum wage in Turkiye. This is for Ada to handle all the planning and coordination tasks.

Design budget: We will work with design professionals to make sure the booth looks prime and ready. We want the look and feel to shine and to promote the projects as well as possible. This budget will allow us to make those designs as good as they should be. Given that such design work goes from 25-50 USD, this will allow us about 60 to 120 hours of a good designers time, which should get us about 10 to 20 pieces of promotional designs to decorate the booth.

Event Costs: This budget is for getting us onboard to the events to set up a booth. The events will demand a payment from us to set up these booths.

Daily Expenses: We will rent out the pieces needed for the booth. This budget allows us to rent out the basics like yoga mats and decor, as well as create a next gen wellness experience using VR.

Staffing: 3 staff at $30 for 10 hours each.

Travel&Commute Costs: These prices are based on the plane ticket prices to go to Istanbul and taxi prices within the city.

Accommodation: Based on accommodation prices for 3 in istanbul.
