Onboarding new users through bringing a game that people outside of the ecosystem will love to play. Some new infra. A CIP-45 implementation.
This is the total amount allocated to PC/Console - FPS UE5 Gaming on Cardano - TierOneCombat - With new custom infra tools (CIP45 UE5 implementations, HaskpiDB, etc).
A first person shooter and zombie experience, with a metaverse, that will bring outside eyes into Cardano through an immersive, already in early alpha stages, FPS multiplayer an zombie experience.
We have custom infrastructure for everything.
Some of the infrastructure will be open sourced (HaskpiDB for instance is how we get onchain data and use our own custom db-sync queries). to further decentralization and not rely on the few solutions that exist. Some of the proprietary game code will not be.
SDG Goals
9 - Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation
SDG Subgoals
9.b - Support domestic technology development, research and innovation in developing countries, including by ensuring a conducive policy environment for, inter alia, industrial diversification and value addition to commodities
This is an already made game that needs to have CIP-45 integration and relays running for IP masking to make everything safe. Some assets will need to be purchased to make and tune some maps with higher poly, higher quality assets, to ensure everything looks as good as possible.
This will onboard outside users to Cardano in a fun way. Not only that, but will serve as an example of what can be done on-chain. As a former member of SIGDA in Colorado, it can help bring in other developers by showing the power of enabling blockchain with games.
10/10 most is already done and foundation is already set, rebulding in Unreal from Unity, so it has been done twice already, proving competency and ability to deliver. [will update] In the past I have made game-engines from scratch using nothing but C++ and openGL/SFML or openGL/SDL.
A custom E2E FPS public lobby solution using relays around the world to IP mask, whilst enabling low ping, low latency gaming, and limit attack vectors whilst building out a private code GUI to enable private wager match 1v1 lobbies.
A CIP-45 custom implementation to enable in-game wallets without giving bip39s/mnemonics away. Following the principles of Trust but Verify. For now only Eternl implements CIP-45 so it will interface to Eternl for now. (This is a binary game and not windows html based) We will not be grabbing the Window object.
Updating assets with higher quality, higher poly, objects and particle systems. Implementing things such as the destruction system. Rolling out a mint and implementing all of the CIP-45 integrations into the game. Customization GUI for everything. Hiring a dev and passing off the keys to the website. Hiring a marketer.
Porting over eXodUz mode (zombies) from the Unity build to the new UE5 build and pushing a small metaverse where you can have your own compound that works with AI bots, code has already been built, to enable stable-diffusion mints of custom camos, in any way you can imagine.
Throw HaskpiDB up on a few servers to call from the api so congestion does not occur. This is a custom api solution, the foundation of it already open sourced, that is a middleman to work with cardano-db-sync, using custom nodes, that enables a custom query api to speed up calls in certain scenarios.
To have a full e2e working game with CIP-45 integration and relays working with NFTs, with many maps and public lobbies for anyone to play. Essentially, a web3 Call of Duty utilizing the blockchain instead of traditional databases.
Trevor Knott is the only dev at the moment but has already built this type of thing multiple times and proved I am capable.
40,000 -> for relays around the world that will be up for 12 months minimum.
10,000 -> marketing and content creation + researching the best way to implement a fungible.
40,000 -> implementing CIP-45
37,000 -> purchasing higher poly assets, objects, adn particle systems to enable pushing the proper aesthetic on making new maps and integrating kits such as destructable walls and building out the miniverse lobby.
10,000 -> porting over eXoduZ mode from the prior Unity build (zombies) to enable offline, not ins a server, play with your NFTs.
This will lead to mass onboarding by creating something that rivals Call of Duty while showing the power of blockchain. I am former member of SIGDA and Game Developers of Colorado and have many friends that still run all of these groups and can actively onboard and show what is possible in regards to web3 gaming.
