We Have Already Demonstrated The Proof of Concept with Proof of Impact Platform (PIP):

• We already created the PIP proof of concept thanks to our collaboration with Patrick Tobler and NMKR, using their white label studio solution for PIP and to offer our Cardano Impact Report as a NFT, that can be minted via the website:

• Socious generously donated Microsoft Azure credits and our team is currently building out these components for PIP with an Azure Expert as part of our MVP roadmap.

Road to MVP:

Our PIP solution seeks to close the sustainability finance gap, by equipping NGOs, and impact organisations with web3 tools, to help accelerate their positive impact.

The Proof of Impact Platform (PIP) will be a SaaS solution, aiming to help people financially and morally support the causes and actions carried out by grassroots activists, communities, NGOs, and impact associations. 

The primary products are an easy-to-use app to upload Impact KPI data. Along with a Cardano-powered platform that enables individuals and organizations to support NGOs and impact associations and get rewarded for their actions.

PIP will use Cardano's tools, and related technologies to capture and showcase the reported and proven impact of NGOs, and associations, through a purchasable Proof of Impact NFT, containing metadata evidence connected to the positive impact beneficiaries have experienced. 

The PIP MVP will be comprised of:

Impact Data Submission Portal:

• Companies can create a portfolio and choose the Impact criteria connected to their project.
• They then can submit their monthly or quarterly impact data points through the data submission page on the portal.
• Once the data is submitted it is sent and stored in the Impact Data Database.

Impact Data Database:

• This is where the data is stored. Each Impact project will have its own cluster of data.
• The data stored in the database is then used to calculate the impact statistics.
• Once calculated this information is represented in the NGOs/user dashboard.

Example: Impact Data Dashboard for Rimba:

• The NGO Impact Dashboard will be connected to the Proof of Impact NFTs through the metadata onchain
• The dashboard will also act as a place for users to support Rimba (eg minting a Proof of Impact NFT) and get an NFT, and follow their impact updates

By developing these components we are going to move from Proof of Impact Platform Proof of Concept to a complete MVP.

The goal of the proposal will be to enhance, test, and expand this work so we can scale Impact Web3 and PIP.

This will enable us to onboard more organizations globally.

We have been busy working on developing the Proof of Concept without funding:

Pre-Funding Activity 

We have been very busy at both Impact Web3 and Sustainable ADA. Over the past three years, we have been creating partnerships and developing relationships to find the puzzle pieces, and to create the Sustainable Blockchain ecosystem and community.

From all of our research, evaluation, and learning we have set ourselves up for the next steps in our journey. 

We were funded in Fund 10 to support Rimba NGO on their digital transformation with novel finance streams for their operations, through the sale of Proof of Impact NFTs.

We will be using the data from the feasibility study to help finalize our PIP model. We will be using Rimba's Impact Data and displaying it in a dashboard.

This will enable project supporters to review their Impact Data from their public dashboard.

This will be stored in the metadata of the NFTs.

Post Funding Activity 

Launching Impact Web3 - an ecosystem of products and tools that support one another in creating larger ripple effects of positive social and environmental impact.

Impact Web 3 is a company that is focused on building and managing decentralized technologies that enable positive impact and sustainability initiatives.

The company oversees several key projects that work together to create a more sustainable and equitable world.

One of the primary projects under Impact Web3 is the Sustainable ADA platform. This platform is built on the Cardano blockchain and is designed to facilitate sustainable education and raise awareness about blockchain4good, and especially Cardano4Good initiatives. Through Sustainable ADA, Impact Web3 was born.

The aim of creating Impact Web3 is to provide more educational content to users, and bring to life our mission of enabling disruptive positive impact around the world.

All of our initiatives are focused on helping demonstrate the importance of prioritizing sustainability and regenerative web3 projects that solve actual real-world problems.

Another project under Impact Web3 is Domino DAO, which is a decentralized autonomous organization that aims to promote social and environmental impact through blockchain-based governance.

The DAO is designed to allow community members to take part in the work of impact evaluation. The DAO will enable the development of a community of impact investors, to help support impact projects in the Cardano community, and connect them with the evaluators and projects themselves. We are exploring bridge-building in this regard with collaborators such as Token Allies.

As an impact evaluator and DAO member, you can propose new ideas and vote on initiatives that can help the platform create greater positive change in the world.

The Proof of Impact Project (PIP) is another key initiative under Impact Web 3. This project is focused on developing a platform that can verify and quantify the impact of sustainability projects, making it easier for supporters and other stakeholders to assess the social and environmental impact of their contributions. 

This project works side by side with the Domino DAO to help connect our DAO community with an impact measurement framework, and pool of impact projects. We will be providing work opportunities and adding roles for community members who want to support or are interested in earning paid rewards, by helping companies track, trace, and verify their impact.

We will continue to research how to best create this DAO and integrating the first stage of development to move toward a completely decentralized impact community.

In this first stage, we will be creating a Token for DAO members. This will be an NFT called the "Domino DAO Founders Pass".

This will give members lifetime access to DAO activities.

Over time, we will allow for the burning and minting of the DAO Founder Passes and after we have created a pool of founders we will move into a New "Member DAO Pass", as we expand to larger groups of members and new opportunities. This will also allow us to test new tools and scale the community in a way where all members have a voice and we can support all impact investors and evaluations entering our ecosystem.

We want the Domino DAO to be the perfect place to onboard new users to Cardano and we believe by taking the proper steps in expanding this community we will be able to effectively reach this goal. This will be an organic growth method and allow us to efficiently scale our community for success.

Why this approach?

In order to address the challenges of ensuring data quality and providing a means for those underserved and unheard to be heard and included, we have partnered with trusted and reputable local NGOs and impact organisations.

We aim to pilot how web3, and Cardano blockchain technologies can be leveraged for positive social impact as we believe these tools and stakeholders can work in tandem to help accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals through a grassroots-led approach. Communities will be given the opportunity to develop and acquire digital skills and discover digital economic opportunities.

How it works with Talk to Loop:

Interactive Voice Response and Reply (IVRR)

• Feedback should not be restricted by literacy, connectivity, or language. That’s why Loop created IVRR.

1. Feedback shared

• Recipient of aid records their feedback in their chosen language by calling our free phone number (e.g. 6464 in Somalia), from any phone.

2. Content moderated

• Loop moderators transcribe, translate and tag the feedback before it is visible on the platform. Organisations are notified of feedback about them. Aggregate data of trends is visible on the statistics page.

3. Reply Submitted

• Anyone, including organisations, can reply directly to feedback, in their own time, in their own language, on any device, to stay engaged remotely.

4. Response created

• Replies are also translated, and an audio recording is created for the original author of the feedback. The reply is published publicly on the Loop platform, providing it is not sensitive.

5. Closing the loop

• The author receives an automated phone call during which they can hear the reply read out to them in their chosen language. The author can then choose to respond immediately, request a call back the next day or simply hangup. The feedback loop is closed!

With the support of the Cardano Project Catalyst funding, we will be able to facilitate the integration of this data into Proof of Impact NFTs as part of the metadata in dynamic NFTs using CIP 68.

Who will we engage?

We are engaging the local community in Palawan, the Philippines, alongside partners:

Palawan NGO Network Inc., and Talk to Loop (Loop).

Loop is led in the Philippines by the Philippines Loop National Coordination Council (LNCC): composed of six people representing seven large national networks and 40 Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).

The LNCC, is composed of six people who represent 7 large national networks and 4000 CSOs. 

This includes: NAPC-VDC, DRRNet, CLEARNet, CDRN, BMCSOP, and ECOWEB.

They all come from different geographical parts of the Philippines and represent different actors in the ecosystem: Government Disaster Response agencies, Civil Society Organisations and more. ECOWEB hosts the Loop staff. The Director of ECOWEB is the Chair of LNCC (the role rotates on an annual basis).

There is a national Forum made up of 40 member CSOs and growing, who have all committed to using and improving Loop, to serve their local communities.

Thanks to a Fund 10 Funded Proposal, we are also supporting the digital transformation of Rimba Non Profit Organisation, based in France with an ecolodge and impactful projects in West Sumatra, Indonesia.

How we will demonstrate and prove our impact?

We will demonstrate and prove our impact by using Loop’s rigorous tried and tested model, and integrate the data into the Proof of Impact Platform NFT4Good Pilot Projects - Streets of ADA.

We also will drive support of the Annual Cardano Impact Report, and continue to find ways to expand our reach with this effort. We will be creating a metaverse educational hub in the Virtua metaverse.

The Domino DAO, another project under Impact Web3, promotes social and environmental impact through blockchain-based governance. Catalyst Journey:

We joined Project Catalyst, Cardano’s decentralized innovation fund, during fund 4. After applying and learning from both funds 4 and 5 along with lots of support from Cardano community members and teams, we were able to construct a strong proposal together that focused on our goals and ambitions for Sustainable ADA, and the Cardano community’s goals. We submitted a proposal focused on helping Grow Cardano, and Grow Africa.

With this funding, we had more capacity to focus on researching and sharing stories from change-makers in Africa and the diaspora, who are engaging with Cardano, creating a better tomorrow, today. 

Thanks to the Cardano community and the use of their voting power from holding and staking ADA, we successfully secured the funding we were seeking. This helped us to take significant steps towards fulfilling our vision and mission having secured these crucial and helpful funds.

The cost of the project represents value for money as it enables the creation of the Impact Web3 ecosystem. In hand, we will be able to bring groundbreaking tools to the Cardano ecosystem and bring more visibility and recognition of impactful projects building on Cardano. By investing in Impact Web3, an its umbrella of products and services. The community will gain access to valuable insights, collaboration opportunities, and inspiration to drive positive change. 

The costs are justified and a modest ask given the average salaries for a graduate, and postgraduate researcher and Teacher in our sectors, and given our track record in and out of the Cardano community to date based out of USA (Salt Lake City), and western Europe (London and Paris).
