We are in the process of developing a comprehensive mobile application designed to function as a streamlined lite wallet, dedicated to showcasing Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). For our specific use-case, it is tailored to NFT tickets but is also readily usable for NFT product. The demo version can be downloaded here (Android only).

This comprehensive mobile solution is poised to serve as an indispensable resource for the Cardano community, enabling seamless integration and utilization of NFT tickets for a myriad of events, including but not limited to RareEvo, NFTxLV, the Cardano Summit, and various in-person gatherings.

Our vision is to present an all-encompassing service, positioning NFTPass as a catalyst for widespread adoption of the Cardano blockchain through the innovative avenue of NFT tickets. In contrast to existing event ticketing options in both web2 and web3, our harnessing the full potential of blockchain technology in order to overcome limitations and enhance the experience of organizers and ticket holders.

At the core of our initiative is the development of an intuitive and secure mobile wallet. This platform will empower the Cardano community to seamlessly purchase NFT tickets and actively engage in special events such as treasure hunts, proof of attendance rewards and more while fostering a dynamic and interactive ecosystem.

A pivotal aspect of our solution revolves around prioritizing security. To achieve this, we are implementing a robust system that links user accounts to Cardano wallets utilizing established tools like AdaHandle. Notably, this integration is designed to eliminate the necessity of importing sensitive data, ensuring the highest standards of security while significantly enhancing the overall usability of our application.

Sign up by creating an account and connect/create your wallet to display all of your NFTs in app.

  This will allow users to restore their accounts easily without managing Seed Phrases or sharing secure keys with our app.

To enhance the onboarding experience for newcomers to Cardano, our platform offers a user-friendly custodial service, simplifying the creation of new wallets and allowing effortless asset transfers to users' preferred self-custodial wallets. The strategic design negates the immediate need for understanding blockchain technology, fostering a seamless introduction to Cardano and web3. As users become acquainted with the platform, they can effortlessly transition to their own custodial wallets, maintaining a connection experience akin to seasoned web3 users. This approach ensures a smooth and intuitive journey, catering to users of varying levels of familiarity with blockchain technology.

Step 1.2 - Non-Custodial Solution For Connecting Cardano Wallets

In our commitment to prioritizing the security of the Cardano community, we are actively developing a streamlined and secure mechanism to verify wallet ownership and seamlessly associate them with user profiles in our app— all without compromising the confidentiality of their seed phrases. Through this integration, users gain the ability to purchase and securely hold NFT tickets within their wallets, providing them the flexibility to attend events while fully enjoying the benefits of their owned tickets from the comfort of their homes. Ultimately this safeguards user assets but also enhances the overall experience, exemplifying our dedication to providing a secure and user-friendly environment for our community.

Step 2 - NFT Display and Metadata Explorer Features

All of your NFTs will be displayed in your account homepage. Clicking on an NFT will open it up for a more detailed view of that asset, displaying token metadata and a full-size image / video

Step 3 - Asset QR Sharing

Share your NFTs or collections with friends, or generate verifiable ownership QRs for NFT tickets. This will enable users to prove ownership of assets and share collection information for the assets they own.

1 - Token QR Generation for Access Passes

  The token QR system is a secure mechanism designed to confirm ownership of assets. Our dynamic QR codes ensure a reliable verification process, resistant to manipulation for duplicating tickets or event access. This straightforward solution plays a crucial role in preventing fraud and ticket scams, addressing a common issue in web2 ticketing systems. The token QR enhances security measures and establishes a dependable method for authenticating asset ownership and event access.

2 - Scanning and Self Check-In Functionality for Events and Passes

  The implementation of our self-check-in feature signifies a significant advancement in event management, empowering attendees the autonomy to verify themselves without relying on security or staff assistance. This not only accelerates and enhances the efficiency of event check-ins but also introduces broader applications, such as the seamless integration of the product for work passes and IDs.

Drawing insights from successful testing at events like NFTxLV and the Cardano Summit, where booth teams grappled with manual check-ins, our solution liberates them to focus on community engagement. Simultaneously, community members can independently check in, automatically claiming Proof of Attendance rewards while fostering a more interactive event experience. Additionally, this feature opens avenues for event organizers to express appreciation, distributing tokens like free drink vouchers and discounted merchandise coupons to all attendees, speakers, or VIPs. The versatility of this solution propels it beyond mere efficiency, unlocking a myriad of possibilities for enhancing attendee engagement and overall event satisfaction.

3 - Instant Update Display of Assets With New Metadata

A major aspect that distinguishes NFTPass from the competition is how most wallets take extended periods of time to update metadata (1hr+), but our app will update metadata as soon as the changes hit the blockchain. This is essential for providing consumer security and proactively protecting them from scams/fraud by allowing s to show in-app if tokens have been used and what for. This can also but used to help users track their own activity at events and improve the verification and attendance tracking.

We have already demonstrated the effect our technology can have at events this past year, we worked with Proxies to test our MVP at NFTxLV, the Cardano Summit in London, as well as a Claymates meet-up in London. Our verification process scanned over 150+ attendee wallets and minted and distributed rewards automatically. The resulting sentiment from their community (and the team!) was that they greatly enjoyed the experience and were keen to see more use cases coming.

We are committed to enhancing the current solution, crafting a more intuitive user experience that offers expanded functionality for event organizers and an enriched, immersive experience for attendees. Importantly, we are proud to announce that this upgraded app will be freely accessible to the entire community, fostering inclusivity and widespread engagement.

Previous Testing And Proof Of Concept:

As previously highlighted, our rigorous testing and subsequent post-mortem analyses from various events this year have been instrumental in shaping the development of this solution. Key takeaways from these evaluations underscored the imperative need to simplify the process of showcasing NFTs at events, facilitating quicker scanning and verification.

The complexity and unintuitive process associated with verification through standard mobile wallets, led to errors and significant process delays, highlighting a need for a more tailored solution. Moreover, the Proxies team was consistently strained, impacting their ability to engage with visitors at booths effectively. In response, after meticulous data gathering and extensive discussions within our team and with the Proxies team, we determined that simplifying the process was crucial.

Our solution aims to enhance efficiency without compromising the security and immutability of the verification process, significantly increasing the viability of the product as a service. It stands as the most secure and efficient means to onboard both non-crypto individuals and events while ensuring existing community members can seamlessly continue using the wallets they already know and trust.

Moving forward, we have some in-person events coming up next year that have already agreed to use our solution as part of the events including the Upstream London meet-ups and we are in talks with some music events in the US.
